Eyes stinging with tears unshed
throat hurting from sobs unvoiced
nose stuffy from sniffles quieted
heart hurting with pain and loss
the pain of a little girl needing her daddy
the loss of innocence taken far too soon
head pounding from the strain of watching
every word said,every deed done
back aching from the strain of heavy burdens
on still-young shoulders
head spinning from thoughts untamed
circling round like a never ending whirlpool
heart aching for an end to it all
the pain,the loss,the strain,the tears,the sobs and sniffles
aching to be free,truly free
never wondering what happens next
never questioning the possible repercussions of
a word not edited,a deed done or undone
longing,longing,longing for everything out of reach
