She woke up with her mouth tasting horrible and her throat dry. She reached her arm out and grabbed her half empty water bottle from the night before and took a gulp of water before her mom came into her room.
Mom: Samantha did you finish your homework?
Samantha: yeah I did it all in class and I had a test in math today so I didn't have any homework in that class.
Mom: okay good would you like me to bring anything up for you to eat?
Samantha: No I'm good right now I just woke up so I'm not too hungry.
Mom: Okay just let me know.
Her mom walked out and shut the door lightly and Sam rested her head against her pillow again.

Sam likes her mom. Most teenage girls her age didn't like their mothers but Sam's mother was caring and sweet. She always does so much for her and Sam appreciates that. She lived with just her mom because her dad lost custody of her during the divorce. Sam didn't mind living with just her mother. She didn't like her dad to much he just starts a new family but it didn't affect her. She was happy with her life.

Sam got out of bed and played her favorite album by Bon Iver on her record player she received for her birthday last year. She loved Bon Iver because of the soft tones they had and how the music made her feel calm. She began to continue working on a necklace she started to craft yesterday. She had an online store of just some stuff she made. Some paintings, necklaces and hats that she would knit. Crafting was a good hobby for Sam. it kept her safe and calm. Most safe from herself and her thoughts. It kept her distracted and it kept her from thinking and thinking and thinking and thinking until she could think no longer and her mind would explode into the space that filled her room.

Sam didn't feel like crafting anymore so she made up her mind to go downstairs. She didn't leave her too often because she liked to be alone. She walked downstairs but Frenchie stayed on her bed and continued to nap. When Sam walked down the hard wood stairs we went into the office where her mom was working.

Her mother worked in a cubical that she shared with another employee. When she got home she would work on her computer to get more done because she was always swamped with work. Pretty much she hated her boss and her
company. She never really explained what she did because apparently it was complicated. Pretty much she helps her companies clients by fixing their issues. Or at least that's the only thing that Sam had picked up.

Mom: Hey sweetie how was your nap?
Sam: It was good I'm still tired though.
Mom: Well you could drink some Coke or some caffeinated drink. I should be starting to make dinner soon.
Sam: What are we having?
Mom: We are just going to eat some meatloaf and I don't know what else probably like corn.
Sam: Okay cool.

Sam left the room and sat on the couch. She pulled out her phone and saw she had a text from her boyfriend saying hey can you hangout tomorrow?
Sam replied with yeah sure I don't have anything going on.
They continued to chat for a little bit. Just going over the basic hey how are you? I'm good what did you do today? and on and on.

Sam had to go when her mother called for dinner. She got up off of the couch but still grabbed a blanket because Sam always seemed to be a little cold. Her mom didn't mind her having a blanket at the table. It was just the two of them. They both liked it that way. They liked the quiet. The lived together in a condo. The condo was pretty. The size was nice. It would be small for the average family but it was just Sam her mom and Frenchie.

They had dinner rather late that night. it was about 8 o'clock and they didn't finish for another 30 minutes. Sam did her usual after dinner routine. She fed
Frenchie. Cleaned her litter box. Sam didn't mind it, it didn't take long and when you clean it every day it never gets too dirty.

Sam walked to her room and grabbed a towel and walked to her bathroom to shower. She turned on the shower to a hot temperature and in she stepped. Sam loved showers. She loved the feeling of the hot water hitting her naked body. She always felt calm and pure in the shower. Sam tilted her head back to get all of her hair wet so she could wash it. Sam squeezed the shampoo into her hand and gently massaged it into her scalp. She washed it out and after she did the rest of her shower needs she shut off the water and grabbed her towel. Sam saw the steam evaporating off of her body.

Sam stepped into her room and got on her warm fleece pajamas that had penguins on it. She was so tired. She got into her bed and covered herself with her warm blankets and closed her eyes. She fell asleep right away dreaming weird things she could never understand in the morning.
