As the sun rose over the newly built camp, a humanoid figure leaped into the valley unaware of the figures following it. The whole camp was filled with movement and life. As Calamar strode through the camp, he felt pride in how well the camp was faring. The camp had single combat, group combat, archery, survival, and even a library that contained the history of the first war to The Battle of The Four Kingdoms where he had died (long story) to the war with the Eulatas where he was resurrected (longer story) to the Heroes of Legend; A.J., Andrew, Alicia, Brian, Elvin, Mikey, Matthew, Ben, and the lost one, James. Each of the categories were led by a Hero of Legend. Single combat was led by Mathew, who has extreme fighting skills and unmatched strength. Group combat was led by me, Brian, who was born with leadership flowing through his veins. Archery was A.J., who claimed that he had yet to face an archer with half his skill. Survival was taught by Andrew, who probably did not know that he was the only known match to Mother Nature. The library was managed by Alicia, who knew more than about history than anyone else. Suddenly, the border defense alarm rang.

"What's going on?" I shouted over the commotion.

"Brian, another Magron entered our borders," Matthew shouted back.

"Luke,"I called," Get the kids to the forest."

      "Right"

"Alicia," I called once more," Open a portal"

"Okay," she replied as a green vortex appeared before us.

About the portal, The Heroes of Legend have special powers along with increased strength and telepathy. My power was lightning. A.J. was fire, Matthew was water, Andrew was earth, Alicia had magic, Elvin had wind, Mikey had death, Ben has metal, and the lost one James once had ice and nature. With these powers we protect the camp, and before that our mountains. I am the youngest with Elvin at thirteen. A.J. and Alicia are both fourteen, Ben is fifteen, Andrew is sixteen with Mikey, Matthew is the oldest at seventeen, but if James was still alive he would be twenty-three.

"What?" A.J. said in surprise," I thought there was one!"

"Where there is one there are more," Alicia said matter-of-fact tone.

     "So be it," I said.

"Oh no," Andrew said," You're staying back. You're too young."

"I'm old enough to do this." I said as I blasted Andrew with electricity.

"Ouch. That looked like it hurt." Matthew noted," But it's up to you if you want to fight or not."

      "Good"

"Follow me" Matthew cried as he led us into battle.

While following Matthew into the fight, I felt excited. After all, this is the first fight of the the new generation of Heroes of Legend, descendants of the originals. Magrons were beasts with an average height of ten feet. During the fight, Alicia encased a Magron in a glowing box and Matthew and I working together ,with water and lightning, managed to fry the second one. While fighting, I could see that A.J. was hit in the leg by a Magron club collapsed screaming in pain. In anger, Andrew buried the third Magron in a underground chamber then collapsed it.

"A.J. is down. Call Luke and Will." Andrew shouted.

As Will raced down the hill, Matthew was launched into the air looking surprised, but he managed to raise the river and break his fall. As the blur passed Andrew, he built a dome surrounding Will and himself. Once Matthew touched the ground, Alicia teleported him inside the dome. When Alicia, A.J., and I were alone, we went into our Megaform to fight the blur. Suddenly a tornado formed and knocked all three of us to the ground. After hitting the ground, our avatars dispersed. A.J. was unconscious and Alicia was hurt and I was stuck in a tree.

"So much for heroics" I thought.

"Well, it could have been worse." Alicia said in my mind.

"Oh yeah. We have telepathy." I remembered.

"At least I know who that person is now." Alicia thought.

"Who?" I asked.

Before she could finish, the blur ran over to me.

"Hi Brian," Elvin said, "Just wanted to test if you were as stronger than before or not. Sorry about the Magrons. Bye"

"Then He disappeared into thin air." I told the rest of my team," Speaking of disappeared, where is A.J.?"

"A Magron took him."

"Yeah, it knocked Andrew into the ocean and ran off with A.J. It seems that this attack was distraction for a kidnap."

"Anyways, I told Luke to protect the kids in bunker 14," Matthew said," The problem is that next Thursday is A.J.'s birthday. That's around when his Fire Ultraform will be fully developed. If he doesn't learn to control it, the power from his Fire Ultraform could leave him at the point of death."

"That leaves us thirteen days." I whispered.

"We can't storm the Magron King's fortress without help," Alicia said," An attack like that would take massive strength to just break through the outer wall. You know how many of our people it took to get to the castle and we didn't even break inside. Hundreds of our people were massacred in front of the final wall."

"That was the story of the First War."

"That means we have to rally the remaining people on Extroyex, Alashia, and the mountains of our power." Andrew said.

"Yes, that is right."

"To lead them into another attack."

"Yep"

"Fine, meet me at the crest of the valley."

"Okay."

During the night, the heroes organized and reorganized what they needed over and over again in anxiety. By the first light, everyone was ready to go on their quest, or so they thought.

"Okay, Brian and I will go to Alashia and our mountains. Alicia, you take Andrew and go to Extroyex and your mountains. Then go to the other mountains." Matthew commanded.

"Open the portal," I told Alicia.

"Bye" I said as I jumped through. When we landed, we were in Alashia.
