ringg.

finally, lunchtime.

i ran out of science class and through the hallways filled with hungry teenagers and made my way to the cafeteria.

i line up to get myself 3 slices of pizza and a can of soda. then searched the room for Jade.

yes, Jade. she is my bestfriend since elementary school. she has wavy golden blonde hair that falls a little past her shoulders and a pair of sea blue eyes. she has a body to die for honestly. she's also athletic without being called sporty. i sometimes envy her, she can easily join the popular group if she wanted to but i dont know why she always stick by my side.

not saying that I'm a nerd or anything nor i am the popular girls. I'm just normal. i just want to survive high school and don't want any drama in my life. the same as Jade too. maybe that's why we are friends.

i scanned through the room and found her. i immediately ran towards her and sit down at our usual table.

"hey you left me at science!" she snapped with a frown.

"sorry! i didn't mean to leave you there but it's pizza day and i can't risk losing my one and only true love" i said back with a fake sad face.

"ugh, i hate you so much right now" she said with fake mad face.

"you love me, admit i" i replied jokingly with a smirk.

she just gave me a finger and we started to talk about random stuff. we laughed a lot honestly. we both laugh at stupid jokes that we both can come up with.

"hey Aria, look at brittany" she suddenly said within laughter.

i scanned the cafeteria and my eyes stopped as soon i saw brittany, she was wearing a tank top that showed her cleavage more than it should be, a really short pencil skirt, and heels.

i burst out laughing with jade that actually made my stomach hurts.

here's the thing about Brittany. she's the most popular girl in our school. she goes sleeping around with guys. and bullies the nerds. she has 2 minions called stacey and Isabelle who always does her dirty work.

well to actually shorten it, she's a bitch.

me and Jade always laughed at her cause its funny she's trying so hard to get boys attention. especially Grayson Knox.

Grayson Knox.

"what about grayson knox?" Jade ask confused.

did i just said that out loud? yes i did. i just mentally slapped myself for doing that.

"nothing Jade, dont worry" i said calmly.

"O-okayy" she said not convinced yet.

Grayson Knox.

the bad boy of rington high school. he's a very rebel person. he has never been seen with a girl before. but every girl in this school is trying very hard to get his attention, but me and Jade.

we never liked him. him and his group. their group consist of the twins jaden and jack, Aiden, Luke, and finally Grayson himself. he could be called the leader just by how looking at him.

no guy in this school has ever have the guts to piss them off. cause the last guy who pissed Grayson ended up in the hospital.

i never know how he manage to not go to prison because of that.

the bell rung again. signaling for the next period.

me and jade ran to our lockers to get our books and ran again quickly towards our next class, history.

we arrived just as the third bell rang and got detention later on the day.

the history teacher motioned us to sit down after giving us the detention card.

the day went out boring and full of yawns.

it was last period and me and jade both have free period so we went to the schools backyard and we both lay under a tree that was our secret place to hang out.

we both planned to go to the amusement park today but thanks to mr. richards, we had to go to detention.

last period has ended and it was time to go to detention.

both me and jade groan in frustration because it was friday and we should've been in the amusement park right now.

we had a 30 minute break before detention and both me and jade went to Starbucks to buy some drink.

after 15 minutes of chatting and drinking we decided to go back to detention.

we arrived at the detention room and we quickly sat down.

thanks God the detention teacher was mr. Johnson because he's a heavy sleeper and wont notice if i and jade talk.

just as i was about to talk to jade the door burst open revealing 5 boys i clearly wish i didn't see.

i clearly made a disgusted look and groaned in frustration after seeing him and seeing that jade did the same thing made both of us smile.

"someone is clearly not happy seeing us" i heard a low and husky voice next to my ear.

i turned around to meet a pair of green eyes.

Grayson.

"you're too close. if you wanted to kiss me you could just say so gray" i said with confidence.

i heard a bunch of ooo-es and whistle's from the other boys at the back.

"feisty, i like it" he growl next to my ear then pushing himself back and now he Was hovering me.

i heard jade mutter some curse words behind me as i just notice that luke was also doing the same thing that grayson did to me to jade.

"what do you guys want?" i snap with sass.

"just an apology you know" Grayson said with a fake sad face.

"like we would apologize to the likes of you" jade snickerd towards luke.

"oh, you will apologize." luke said smirking at Jade.

"and what will you guys do if we dont?" i said while raising one eyebrow.

"a lot of things" Luke and Grayson said and immediately sat down at a chair in the back of the classroom.

ugh. this detention would last longer than i think.
