Hazel was waiting outside of Cabin 13.

Frank said that he would pick her up at 8:30 and now it was 8:38 and she was getting a little worried, even if she really shouldn't be. After a few more minutes, Hazel saw a bird soaring towards her-- straight at her.

Scared, Hazel moved inside of her cabin and shut the door, her back against it. Then, there was a knock at the door.

Hazel creaked it open to see Frank with a bird feather resting on top of his head. He didn't really seem to notice. This made Hazel giggle a little.

"Sorry I-I scared y-you", Frank said nervously. Seeing Frank this nervous made Hazel smile even wider. She loved it when he got nervous, she thought he got even cuter when he blushed and hung his head a little and stuttered.

"Sooo..." Hazel held the letter 'o' for a second, twirling her ankle on the porch, waiting for Frank to bring her where he planned.

"Oh right!" Frank suddenly jumped up and pulled on Hazel's hand. "C'mon! C'mon!" Frank was running like his life depended on it.

Hazel's lungs were heaving and once Frank was finally at his destination he stopped abruptly, causing Hazel to fly a couple feet forward, falling into Frank, knocking him over.

"Sorry Hazel!" Frank quickly got up, helped Hazel up, and brushed the grass out of her hair. He was slowly taking out the grass, mesmerized by her golden eyes. Hazel tilted her head.

"Are you okay?" she asked, Frank was starting to drool a little in the corner of his mouth.

"Y-yeah. Sorry" he hung his head, "you're just so beautiful".

Now it was Hazel's turn to hang her head and blush. "S-so, how about that date?"

Frank head shot up, again, and told her to walk up the trail that was in front of her.

"I'll be right behind you", he said, grinning like a maniac.

Hazel nodded, and turned to walk up the trail. She took a step in front of her, and candles lit up along the trail. Hazel turned back to Frank, a bright smile plastered on her face.

Frank nodded for her to keep going.

He probably go the Hecate kids to help, or Leo. Hazel thought.

When Hazel reached the end of the candles, there was a beautiful picnic set up under the stars in a clearing. There was a classic red-checkered blanket spread out and a basket full of food. There were fairy lights strung up in the trees surrounding the clearing and a few lantern hung here-and-there.

Everything was perfect.

Hazel looked behind her again, but Frank wasn't there. Confused, Hazel turned around again to see a puppy sitting on the blank, panting and wagging its tail.

Relieved that Frank wasn't eaten by a monster, she giggled and walked over to the puppy, sat down and started rubbing behind his ear. Obviously liking this, the puppy wagged its tail harder and started to change form, back into Frank.

Frank still looked a little dazed and his eyes were closed, his tongue sticking out the side of his mouth. Hazel giggled again. Man she was doing that a lot.

Frank looked up, and smiled when he saw Hazel smiling. Her smile always made his heart flutter.

Frank and Hazel finished a dinner filled with laughs, jokes, stolen kisses, and a lot of reminiscing. When the couple finally looked at the time, it was getting closer to 11:00. With that, Frank looked like he was going to explode- his face was so red.

"So... um, Hazel, the real reason why I asked you to come with me is pretty important. And, um , well, Leo said that I have to make a speech about how much I love you before I ask you so, here we go; Hazel, you are my best friend and have been my girlfriend since I was 16 and you were 13. That was 7 years ago. And um, our love has been so strong for all these years and I know that we're still a little young, hey, we're demigods, we aren't expected to live that long anyway. So, um, if we aren't going to live that long, I want to die next to my best friend, my true love, and my, um, wife."

Hazel gasped, put her hands over her mouth, and could feel a tear go down her cheek, a happy tear.

Frank grabbed her hand, "Hazel, I don't care about your curse, I trust you with my life, literally, I love you so, so much".

Frank knelled down on one knee. Fished the red velvet box out of his pocket. Opened it and presented the most beautiful diamond ring with little gold crescents surrounding the small, yet shining, diamond in the center.

Hazel couldn't form the one word she so desperately wanted to say, so she just nodded. She extended her hand out and took a deep breath.

"Yes. Of course I'll marry you". Hazel giggled and smiled her brightest smile yet, which made Frank's heart skip across Russia and back. He returned the smile, equally as bright and happy.

Then, Frank lifted her off the ground and spun her around, the smile still spread on his face.

Then he cupped her small face and kissed her, and even though that kiss couldn't top the underwater kiss that Percy and Annabeth shared, it was still a close second.
