We got to out hotel room and get our patching suits on. We get our towels and glasses and apply sunscreen. We then leave. We get out to the beach and we don't see the boys.
"Do you see them?" I ask Catie.
"No. Let's go get a spot." She says while tugging on my hand. It's about 6 pm and there is rarely anyone out -. the beach by then. We set our towels down. Catie is laying out tanning while I braid my hair so it doesn't get knotty. Then all of a sudden I see Matt, Shawn and a few more buys throw their stuff and jump into the water. Catie turns around and looks at me.
"What the fuck was that?" She said.
"Matt and Shawn." I say about to laugh.
"That sounded like a pack of wild animals." She says while putting her head back down. Matt comes over and sits down on the sand with his arms supporting him. He looks over at me and smiles.
"Hey." He says dripping wet.
"Hi. Is the water cold ?" I say sarcastically because I knew the water was cold.
"Yeah." He says smiling at the ground. I see Shawn get out and another follows him.
"Who are the other boys?" I ask leaning over towards Matt.
"Well the one coming out with Shawn is Cameron, and the others in the water is Nash, Hayes and Taylor." Matt tells me as his voice becomes a little annoyed when he says that last boys name. I look over at him scrunching my eyebrows together because on the sun
"Do you not like Taylor?" I ask.
"Too much to say." He says to me.
"Oh." I say trying to end the conversation before Shawn and Cameron gets to where we are sitting.
"Matt come play football with us." Shawn says while standing near Catie. Catie sits up and looks over at me. Then Taylor come out of the water and stands next to Shawn. Matt gets up and grabs the football. They all run over to an open space of land and start their game.
"What do you want to do for dinner?" Catie says to me.
"Maybe we can go out for food? We don't have a lot in the fridge." I say while looking at the time.
"Okay, and we can take they guys too if you want." She says smiling at me.
"You want Shawn to come don't you." I say with a smirk.
"Maybe." She says while standing up. "I'm going up text me when you're coming up."
"Okay." I say to her while she starts to pack up. I get up and walk over to the boys and I see Taylor get creamed by Matt.
That boy can tackle, or it could just be the anger Matt has toward him. After a few minutes the game was over. I can tell Matt was pissed.
"Matt!" I yell so he sees me. He starts to walk over. The boys already were walking back to the hotel. Matt stayed and waited for me to pack up. I text Catie telling her I was coming up.
"Do you want to come get pizza with Catie and I?" I ask him.
"Yes why would I not." He says looking over at me.
"Okay and bring the guys if you want too." I say looking at the ground.
"I might just bring Cameron and Shawn. Taylor doesn't like pizza and Hayes and Nash ate before we came down." He says while brushing his fingers through his hair.
"Sounds good to me." I say while walking into the lobby of the hotel, he follows me.
