Your boyfriend, Dana Vaughns, finally came home after 8 months of touring other countries. You were excited to see him.
You lay in bed with millions of thoughts running through your head.
'What if he doesn't want me?' You ask yourself. 'What if he found someone else?' Your mind was full of what ifs and it had gotten you to worry over nothing. After a good hour or so, you finally fall asleep. You didn't know Dana had finally gotten home and he was on his way to your house. Dana missed you so much, more than you would possibly ever know.
Around 2 in the morning, you wake up and you're hungry.
"Come on, Barbara." You mumble to yourself as you force yourself to get up and go to the kitchen. You're rummaging through the refrigerator when you hear someone at the door. You grab the first thing you see which is knife and walk closer to the main room. The door gets flung open and you're ready to stab the person until you realize who it is.
"Dana!" You scream with joy. You drop the knife and run over to your boyfriend to shower him with kisses.
"Barbs, what are you doing up? I was going to surprise you." He laughs.
"Oh, you know..." Your stomach growls. Dana laughs even more and hugs you. "I've missed you, Dana.." You say into his chest.
"I've missed you more." He kisses your forehead.
It couldn't be possible in your mind. Why would he ever miss you more than you could miss him? You were nothing to miss in your opinion.
"Dana, that's not possible." You say.
"I believe it is. How could I not miss the reason for my smile? Or the reason for making me into a better person. I love you, Barbara and I just want you to know that, okay? You're my everything and I'm never letting you go." Dana smiles at you.
Everything was perfect.
"I'm never letting you go either." You smile back at him. The two of you share a small kiss before walking into the kitchen and talking about the future.
