Uellie went home happy as ever that night. Most would think she was on drugs but no, she was on a natural high. Love is the most natural thing known to man. It's one thing to go out on a limb and love but when the person loves you back it's an explainable emotion. While Climbing into bed after saying goodnight to her mom she smiled. She smiled because she knew God would get Aiden through this, she had everlasting faith in her Heavenly father. That night she prayed for the best outcome of Aiden's situation.

Uellie woke in the morning to a ray of sunshine beaming through her burgundy colored curtains. Her mother was downstairs cooking Uellies favorite meal of the day, breakfast. Uellie adopted her early morning attitude from her mother, it was a routine in their house to get up early on Saturday mornings and clean. Rolling out of her bed, Uellie stands to her feet and slips into her fuzzy slippers. The fresh aurora of pancakes filled the air.

Uellie grabs her iphone 6 off her dyed nightstand before walking down the wooden stairs into the kitchen where her mothers stands.

"Good morning mommy" she greets, kissing the mocha colored women.

"Good morning sweetheart" Tina replies, Her hair is wrapped in a cheetah print scarf. The pan sizzles on the stove indicating the bacon is almost ready making Uellies mouth water. She loves bacon.

The morning with her mother allowed Uellie to get her mind off things, she needed a break from the turmoil of her life.

Later in the evening, around 1PM, after the mother and daughter have finished their breakfast along with their annual cleaning the duo visit the hospital where Aiden and his family are located.

Uellie had been texting Aiden all morning but stopped a while back to give him time to rest. Uellie remembered an article she read a while back in school about caner patients and sleep healing their bodies. She never thought in a million years that someone she felt so deeply for would have such an awful disease. When she checked in with the front desk she nurses gave her a sad look indicating something was wrong

As soon as she grasped her hospital attendance badge she ran to his hospital room hurriedly, the whole situation felt wrong. Her heart beated quickly in her chest. The day she was expecting to be great had turned tragic. If felt like a million years had passed before she reached Aidens room. The sight inside made her heart drop. Tears instantly clouded her vision. He was gone, her first love. The guy who taught her to open her eyes and to trust.

Her heart was heavy, she fell into her mothers eyes crying tears. The wet liquid seeped into her mothers blouse as her mother held her tight. She knew the pain her only daughter was feeling. She knew how it felt to lose someone you love.

"He went quickly" the doctor spoke as he stood next to Aiden's weeping parents. The sympathy in his voice was presented in a professional matter. A whole room of people were hurt emotionally.

Uellie was numb. She couldn't believe her prayers were not answered, the sadness she was feeling just would lift up. Many moments had passed, the doctor covered Aiden's body with a white cloth.

Uellie still couldn't believe Aiden as gone, she had talked to him yesterday and he was on the road to recovery. She shed another tear for the life they could of had together, and then another for his un lived life. Her mind wondered off to the memories they shared. Aiden was such a sweet soul, he always knew how to brighten her day. He was a joy to be around. She smiled at the thought. He had taught her so much. How to love unconditionally. She was proud to know him.

She looked over at his grieving parents. Removing her mothers arms from around her she walks over to give the duo a hug. They welcome her compassion.
