She would always sit there staring lifelessly with glossed eyes as if she had seen a creature of the night. Skin as pail as a arctic fox, slowly pealing away as time goes by without her. Daintily, dust accumulates on her once amber, velvet locks. Her sapphire dress is covered in rips, scolds and gaping holes; her dress had been turned to tatters.

I've known her all of my life and I use to love her to pieces back when I was five. However, as I grew older, something about her changed. She would start to coldly smile at me as if she was planning something. Those crystal eyes... Following, stalking my every move. Watching. Waiting, like a predator. Of course I thought nothing of it at first. Consistently chanting to myself it's all in my head, only my imagination, but then she started to move of her own accord.

The very first time that I noticed she had began to move was when I was in my room completing some college work. I heard what sounded like pitter-patter of foot steps on the laminate floor. I initially thought it was my cat, even though he had been sleeping next to me the whole time. I then went to look at the retro emerald throne, where she had always sat, to talk to her but she was gone. Thinking that the sound was of her tumbling off her throne, I went to go and delicately place her back where she belongs but oddly she was nowhere in sight. Confused I slowly turned around and to my surprise she had appeared behind my snoring cat.

Gradually these bizarre happenings became more... frequent. I constantly found her perched on different surfaces around my once peaceful home. Soon she was around every corner, stalking me wherever I went.

Eventually I had had enough of this malarky and decided she had to go. She somehow was perched up on my sunset wardrobe and when I was about to carefully lift her up I hear a little girl's giggle. I knew the unsettling sound came from her. While backing away slowly, she rigidly stood up as if she was a puppet; blazing eyes lock onto my panicked eyes with chains and shackles. With a innocent voice she spoke her mind. "You shouldn't have done that." Followed with deranged, sinister cackles. I could feel my fleeting sanity drifting away.
