I was in my dorm with my roommates Molly and Willow, we were getting ready for our first day of school. Molly was standing in front of her closet looking for an outfit I was already dressed in my usual t-shirt jeans converse and black hoodie. "I need just the right outfit for today. It has to be the right one." Molly said still looking through her clothes. I laughed a little "I couldn't care less about what outfit I wear. They're all the same, t-shirts, jeans, sneakers, and hoodie." "That's kinda sad." Willow said as she packed her backpack. "Not really. I don't care, you'll get used to it. Oh and I'm Alexis by the way" I said. Willow looked at me "So, can I call you Lexi?" she asked. "No never call me Lexi ever either call me Alexis or X nothing else" I said. Willow smiled "It's okay, I know what it's like to have nicknames. My full names Willowdean, but I like Willow. More short and... Normal" she said. "Why do you want to be normal? Willowdean is a cool name" I said. "I dunno, whatever." Willow said as she finished packing. "Guys, we're gonna be late for the first day!" Molly said in a hurry. I sighed "Fine, let's go." We got to school we discovered we all had math first period. But on the way there we lost Molly in the crowded hallway. After everyone was seated the teacher asked a blond girl that was filing her nails a super easy question but the girl wasn't paying attention "So what's the answer Claire?" The teacher asked. Claire looked up "Sorry? What were you saying to me?" She asked. People like Claire really irritated me and I was sitting right behind her "The answer is 12 stupid. And if you weren't so dumb you would know that" I snapped. "Aww I was so close." Clair said then started to stare at a boy across the room. The boy looked in her direction and smirked. "Awwww you only missed by... lets see... 100%." I said. "I must've hallucinated. What did you say?" Claire said. I resisted the temptation to strangle her. "That's enough. Back to algebra!"the teacher said. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAY" the whole class said sarcastically. The Claire pulled out a mirror and started fixing her hair and makeup. "Claire, please put that away" the teacher said clearly annoyed. "I can explain! I had a smudge in my mascara, which is absolutely horrible of course. What am I gonna do? I can't just have a clump!" Claire said dramatically. Claire and her friends who were clearly the preppy popular girls started to laugh. "Well Jasmine she's certainly the drama queen." A girl next to me with reddish brown hair said. "You bet." The Jasmine said. "Fine, Claire. Answer this question correctly and you can fix your little smudge." The teacher said. "Sounds like a good deal to me" Claire said. The teacher wrote a simple equation on the board. "Awwww, but that's so easy." Willow said. "Yeah I'm not even that smart and i can answer that." I said. Then Molly rushed in "I'm here! I'm here!" Molly said. Then there was an awkward pause. "Class has already started, hasn't it?" Molly said with her slightly British accent. then class laughed, and the teacher looked at her clipboard. "Take your seat Molly Harrison." The teacher said firmly. Then the loudspeaker turned on "Everyone, we are on lockdown, I repeat, we are on lockdown. This is not a drill, this is not a drill". "But now I'll never get to answer my question and I'll never get to fix my makeup! Stupid lockdown" Claire whined. "Only thing stupid here is you." I snapped. Claire glared at me "Hey! I may be an idiot but I'm not stupid." She said and did a flipped her hair. "Everyone! Quick, get into the corner behind my desk." The teacher said. "Do you expect me to get under there? What about my hair?" Clair said sounding freaked out. The rest of the class got under the desk except Clair me, the girl with reddish brown hair, her friend Jasmine, Willow and Molly. "Claire!" The girl with reddish brown hair yelled worried. Then a strange man walked in. Claire looked at the guy deep in thought "Oh my God, he's hot." She exclaimed. "Don't bother running. I have something you might like." The guy said "Ooh, like a pony? I have a pony back at home you know." Clair said. "Oh, It's better than a pony." He said. Claire looked confused "A unicorn?" She asked. "Wow you're really stupid." He said. "Tell me about it she probably doesn't even know what 2+2 is" I said. "I know what 2+2 is... it's.... uh... 9 right" Claire said. "No you annoying idiot it's 4" I said. "oh...I was so close again" Claire said. "wow this girl really is an idiot" the guy said. "Can't you be nice, and leave me alone?" Clair said. "Not if you want your present!" The man said. "What is it! What is it!" Clair said excited. "Oh it's just the fact that you'll be leaving school, and not alone either bring all your little friends" he said pointing to me and the others. "Woah I am not friends with that brain dead goody goody" I said pointing to Claire. "What are you talking about we're all friends later we can wash of all your weird black makeup replace it with some pink lipstick, sparkly eyeshadow, and blush! Then we can ditch your black tattered jeans lose the hoodie and then maybe we can go to the mall!" Claire said. The man must have been losing his patience because he yelled "Come with us before I bomb this whole school." we're coming! Come on guys!" Claire said cluelessly. "Claire! He's bad, he wants to kidnap us!" The girl with reddish brown hair said. "Selena but he's like... adorable. Those blue eyes just bring me in..." Clair said looking at the guy dreamily. "We'll you're coming with me weather you like it or not and your friends too!" He said pointing to those of us who weren't under the desk. "Does this mean road trip time?" Claire asked excitedly. I saw other men in all black come out with huge sacks. I got in a defensive position I had lived alone on the streets most of my life and when you live on the streets you learn how to defend yourself. "You bet. Get em in boys." The man said. "Ew there's no way I'm going in that thing. Can you carry me? I'm pretty light." Clair said. Then someone punched Claire in the stomach and their hand froze. Then one man came at me and I grew dark purple almost black feathered wings and flew up so he crashed into the guy that was trying to capture Willow. After awhile one of the guys came over with a rope and caught my foot and pulled me down despite my struggling. Soon the guy had my hands and feet tied together and my wings tied together behind my back. Then the guy took off his mask. I was shocked he was not about two years older than me. His hair was blond like me except instead of an electric blue streak like mine her had a black streak, and he had green eyes. There was no doubt it was him it was Zayn. "What you surprised to see me little sister" he said before he shoved me in a sack and I passed out.
Then when I was conscious again I think we were in some sort of basement because that air felt weird almost as if it were stale. Then I felt cold air "I'm finally out" I heard Claire say. "How?" I heard Selena say. "I don't know. Maybe it's like a 5th sense or something. Now, back to my hair." Clair said. "Its 6th sense stupid." i heard Willow say. "Not if she doesn't have a brain" I said. "That's not a sense." Willow said frustratedly. "We'll get us out first!" Jasmine said. "Wait where am I?" I heard Molly ask who must have just become conscious. "I don't know, but it needs to be redecorated badly." Claire said. "Well do you know how to get us out?" Willow asked. "Sorry I don't know how I did it." Clair said confused. "Well you're just full of answers today!" I said sarcastically. "I know, right?" Clair said. "Well at least untie the ropes. There must be ropes holding the bags shut right?" Willow said. "Yeah..." Clair said "Omg it's happening again." Claire exclaimed. "Yes! I'm outta here! Wait... why are there chunks of ice on the floor?" I heard Molly say. "If I touch stuff it freezes. Isn't that cool? We should get the others out to though..." Claire said. "Cool? Cool? Oh yeah, so cool it's frozen." Molly said. "What's going on?" I heard Willow say. "Want me to get you out?" Claire said. "Yes!!" Willow said. "Watch this!" Claire said but must have touched my bag by mistake because it became very cold and then shattered. Then Molly helped untie the ropes binding me. After she did my hands and feet there were rope burns. I was reluctant to ask but I did " hey can you get my wings" I asked and sat up and showed her my wings. She looked shocked but untied them. Then I stood up. "WRONG SACK." Willow said. "Oops. I thought it was you." Claire said. "Nice goin, dumbass. Now we know she has defective ears too, along with her defective brain." I said. "If there's a defective one here I think it's you! I don't think my father would be too pleased to hear about this." Claire said. "Eh, fathers are overrated. They don't actually get you out of trouble." I said glaring at her. "My daddy has gotten me out of every bit of trouble I've caused. He got me a pony one time when I got in trouble." Claire said. "That must be a lot." Willow said. "Then why isn't he here now, huh?" I said. Then there was a dramatic pause. "Did you guys forget we're still here?" Willow asked. Then Claire froze the rope on bag and Willow burst out. "I'm out! Yes! Now show me what happened..." Willow said then looks at the ice on the ground "Soooo... What happened? Everything's... Frozen." She said. "Yeah all I did was touch the ropes, and they froze!" Claire said. "There must have been liquid nitrogen here..." Willow said. "No... It was definitely me. I like, felt it." Claire said. "Okay... It's not like she actually had a brain before, but if she did have one, she completely lost it now." I said. Then Molly untied Jasmine's bag "You got that right." Jasmine said. "Hey guys? I'm still in here!" Selena said still in her sack. "Oh... Sorry!" Claire said freezing Selena's bag then it shattered. "That just got... Really cold." Selena said. "Because I froze it silly!" Claire laughed. "It was liquid nitrogen."
Willow said. "What's liquid nitrogen? I want some!" Claire exclaimed. "Look, usually I'm all fun and games but we have figure out how to get out of here. Anxiety kicking in..." Molly said starting to hyperventilating. "Oh no, are you okay?" Clair said. "Let's just get outta here? It's giving me the creeps." Willow said. "It needs serious redecorating if you ask me." Claire said. "It doesn't matter how it looks because we're getting out of here." Selena said. "Right." Molly said. "There's a door right over there!" Willow said pointing to the door. I ran over to the door "It's locked" I told the others. "OHHHHHH I'LL FREEZE IT!" Claire said jumping up and down like a little kid. "Smartest thing she said all day" I said rolling my eyes. Then Claire walked over and froze the lock and it shattered. Willow stared in disbelief "That's. Not. Possible." she stammered. "Yeah. What's going on?" Selena said shocked. "Look, the doors open!" Molly said running out. "Yes! Finally!" I said running out but I was way too fast I mean like literally I think I was moving faster than humanly possible. I ran right into a wall. I sat up "ow" I said rubbing my head. The other girls walked in a second later and I ran over to them. Then one of the guys in black spoke "You're not going anywhere." he said. "Yes we are. Guys, get them!" Selena yelled. "Finally! all these years of practicing and it pays off!" I said and punched the guy who spoke in the jaw. "Snowball fight!" Claire yelled and a snowball came out of nowhere and hit someone in the face. Then it turned into a fight and only stopped when we heard Molly scream. Molly was laying on the ground her head was bleeding badly. "Molly! Did they get Molly?" Willow said worried and ran over to Molly and knelt down next to her."Come on, Molly. Get up!" Willow said worried. then a strange greenish light came from Willows hands. When the light faded Molly's head was healed and Molly opened her eyes. "Willow! You saved me!" Molly cheered. "What?"Willow said confused. Then snow started to fall and all the guys in black were wiped out. Willow looked really confused. "Guys I figured out how to brain freeze!" Claire exclaimed then an Ice cream appeared in her hand."Ice cream anyone?" Claire said smiling.
"Maybe that's what happened to your brain and that's why it doesn't work!" I said. "Well it looks like someone ain't having any ice cream." Claire retorted. "Does it look like I care?" I said rolling my eyes. Then Claire hit me in the face with a s now ball. "That's. It." I yelled and Lightning formed over Claire's head and hit her. "My hair!" Claire yelped scrambling for her mirror. I glared at her and a gust of wind blew it out of her hand. "Well I'm pretty sure we have a bigger problem than your hair idiot, everything's frozen!". "Guys, I think I got this one." Jasmine said and knelt down and the ground started to flame up but then returned to normal. "Now it's all wet!" Molly complained then slipped and fell and a sun appeared over her head and everything dried." "What just happened it's all dry!" Willow said. "So let me get this straight... Claire has ice powers, Jasmine has fire powers, and what are your names?" Selena said "My name is Alexis but you can call me X, and apparently I have Sky powers, Wings and speed" I said. "Oh, and Willow can heal!" Molly said cheerfully. "That's me. And that's Molly. And Molly floating sun just appeared over your head!" Willow said. "But I liked when it was snowing..." Claire complained. "Too bad. Let's get outta here!" Selena said. Then more people in black came in "Not so fast!" one of them yelled. "You kidnapped us! And believe me, revenge is something i do best..."Selena yelled. then all the people in black dropped dead while a shadow emerged. "Ummm... what happened?" Selena said sounding a little freaked out. "You got killed him so...! Let's go!" I yelled unfazed by their deaths. Everyone stared at me like I was crazy then we all rushed out. We all went to Selena's room to hang out after a while of silence Willow spoke "So what do we do with these... um, powers?" "Well, I think we should only use them when we need them." Jasmine said. "Well that's boring! Let it snow!" Claire said spinning around as it begun to snow. "Claire! not in the dorm...And anyway I'm still kinda confused on what I did..." "Come on, don't be as stupid as Claire, you enileated them!" I said. "I'm just relieved to be outta there." Molly said. Selena sighed "Me too."
