My Fiery Fox (Nathanael x Reader)

I'm Worthy???

I decided to walk around the streets of Paris because I just felt like it. I didn't really notice where I was going but ended up on a roof. I then spotted a red head boy. I think I've seen him somewhere.I decided to go see what he was up to.

"So, watcha drawing?" I asked popping my head from behind him. He stumbled over and fell off the bench. Oops I guess I caught him by surprise. "Sorry, didn't mean to frighten you" I laughed and held my hand out to help him back up. He took it and sat back down on the bench. "So, uh what are you drawing?" I said looking at his notebook, then he quickly covered the drawing up with his hands. "Come on let me see. Please?" The boy stayed silent then said.

"If you promise not to laugh" I nodded to his request. He took his hands off the notebook and I looked at his drawing.

"Who are they?" I asked not knowing the people he drew.

"What?! You don't know who they are?! You definitely must be new around here not to know who they are." He seemed entirely shocked that I didn't know who the people that he drew. Then he pointed to the first one on the left. "This is Firefox" he then pointed to a yellow haired boy with Cat ears. "That's Cat Noir" "Then he pointed to a girl with a red and black spotted suit. "That's ladybug" he then got to the last a in the middle wich had another boy but who had what looked like wings. "That's Night Raid, and that's White Wolf." He said pointing to a girl with white hair standing in between the Night Raid guy and the Cat Noir.

"Soo, are they like from a famous T.V show or something?" I asked totally clueless.

"No! Of course not, they're completely real!" He practically yelled but then hushed a but because he was shy. "They are the heroes of this city, although some don't get along with others. And if you ask me there seems to be something missing from here."

"So, why doesn't the white haired girl wear a mask like everyone else?"

"That's a question I actually can't answer. Honestly I don't really know, maybe I could ask her next time I see her"

"Yah, wait next time? Does that mean you actually know her?"

"Um no I ment like if I saw her, heheheh" the boy started to scratch behind his head.

"Wait a minute, aren't you one of Adrian's friends, Nathanael right?" I asked then he nodded.

"Hmmm, can I ask you a question?"I asked.

"Yah sure"

"Why do you cover one of your eyes?"

"Well I uh, I don't know I just like it this way I guess. Why do you cover one eye with your hair" he then asked.

"I uh well I gotta get going don't wanna be late for.... Umm dinner? Yah dinner gotta go bye!" I then ran super fast away. Dinner? Really Ash is that the best you could do! Stupid stupid stupid!" I kept hitting my head against the wall. I then saw an old woman getting mugged.

"Please no! That bracelet is priceless! A man like you doesn't deserve to have get your duty hands off!" She yelled but the man didn't seem to listen. He kept on tugging at the bracelet but the old lady didn't want to give it up. I could see she was determined and that the bracelet was very important to her. I noticed a small pipe close by and grabbed it.

"Hey! She said to keep your hands off!" I yelled at the man. He stopped then stared at me then laughed.

"What's a little girl like you gonna do? Wine me to death?"

Wow did he just say that. I freakin 14 years old! I launched myself at him attacking him with the pipe. He quickly dodged my attack and almost hit me but I dodged just in time. I threw the pipe down and stared using my fists. Shit just got real here. He grabbed me from behind and I was cornered. I had to think quick and it hit me. I stomped on his foot with all my might and at the same time bit his hand as hard as I could. After he let go I quickly turned around and kneed him down south.

He groaned in pain and crouched down. "That's what you get asshole!" I yelled then walked over to the old woman. "Are you okay?" I asked her. She nodded and smiled.

"Yes, thank you, as a reward I will give you this bracelet, you are far more worthy than anyone else I have ever seen." She smiled and handed the bracelet over to me. I pushed the bracelet back to her.

"No no! I couldn't accept this! Weren't you just trying to keep it away from that man!?"

"Yes, I was keeping it away from him but he was unworthy, you are far more worthy than him." She placed the bracelet in my hands. I looked down at.

"But-" I was about to give it back but when I looked up again she was gone. Straight up dissapered. I was lost for words what the hell Is up with this place?!!

I quickly went home and went straight to my bedroom. I set the bracelet on my desk and examined it a bit more closely. "What's so important about this bracelet? And why am I so worthy to have it? Was that lady high or something? No, this isn't like my hometown this is different. What the hell!" I kept mumbling stuff when my door burst opened.

"Ash! You were gone so long I began to worry" Adrian barged right into my room.

"Gee, hi to you too" I said not really paying attention to him.

"Do you want a death wish?!"

"With who?"

"Our fath-" I cut him off.

"Your father, not mine" I said looking straight at him dead in the eye, then went back to inspecting the bracelet. Adrian left the room but an hour later came back and told me to come eat. He seemed rally excited to go eat with me. What does he eat alone or something?

We went to the dinning room and sat at the table. It was just me and him. I stand corrected.
