~Elena~

We were driving down the street when we noticed that Jesy's car was parked in the driveway. Although Jamie looked somewhat panicked, we both knew to stick with the plan. All we had to do was drive down to the store, then walk up like nothing happened. We explained to Demi our mastermind plan.

"I kind of like where this is going, but we don't know how long they have been here, what if they question farther?"

"Well, we could just say that we had a tough time deciding." I could also see the fault we made in this plan; I just didn't want to admit it. We were stuck, but we had to cover our tracks.

As we approached the small convenient store at the end of the block, we saw that the sign said 'closed'. Jamie and I decided to walk back to the house from here, after saying 'goodbye' to Demi.

The air was bitter cold and I knew I should've worn a bigger jacket. I found that my teeth were chattering. I didn't want to go home and act this out, I was tired. The day was a long one, but filled with good memories of Demi, Jamie, and me. My heart began to beat faster as we came to a halt at the front door. We both looked at each other and nodded, a way to say, 'It's okay.'

I wrapped my hand around the cold handle and looked to Jamie again for reassurance. She gave me a nod and a small smile. As I opened the door, I saw Perrie and Leigh sitting at the table. They both had on expressions that were barely unreadable, although I could sense the tension in the air.

They both stood up and made their way over to us, crossing their arms in the process, but I knew to play it cool.

"Hey, when did you guys get back?" I had this acting thing in the bag; they would be easy to fool.

"Since this afternoon. Jesy tried to call you both, but you didn't pick up, then she called the neighbor and was informed that you both left right after we left, with god only knows who." You could sense that the way Perrie spoke, she was fuming with anger. Leigh appeared to be just as bad.

When I heard Perrie say that, however, I lost my brain of spy tricks. I had no idea what to say. Also I didn't want to say anything. I knew Jamie would break under this pressure, only because she hates when someone's anger is directed towards her. I looked over at her and noticed that her eyes were showing lots of fear, her mouth was also slightly agape and she kept looking back and forth between them and me.

Next thing I know, Jamie attempts to run to her room. She surprisingly makes it past Perrie, who reached out an arm to catch her. I stood in front of the two tall girls, knowing that we seriously fucked up the plan this time. We were done for.

Perrie and Leigh looked at each other for a moment, mumbling something I couldn't hear. Then, Leigh turns around and walks up the stairs. She was going to get Jamie. Standing in front of Perrie as she starred me down was intimidating, I knew she was preparing what to say, I kept my head down.

"Lets go to my room and talk." She grabbed my arm and pulled me up the stairs, forcing me to keep up with her. I spotted Jade standing outside of Jamie's room, the door was open and she watched what was going on inside.

I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I knew that what I did hear was Jamie crying. I felt bad now; she was forced into this because of me. I'm sure she didn't even want to come meet Demi, not that she hated her, she just knew better to listen to Jesy. Until we get out of this, we are gonna have to stick together.

*Omniscient POV*

The next morning, all six girls were seated around the breakfast table. The four older girls were upset with Jamie and Elena. They waited for Jesy to begin talking. She was the grown up in the house and all they girls looked up to her for advice and to talk to for anything else going on in their lives.
