Chapter 1

As the rain falls Caspian wraps his cloak a little tighter to his heat drained body. He used to love rain. He and Anna would stay in the house and play games.........  But that was a long time ago.
      His thoughts are interrupted as a branch snaps nearby. He whips around and draws his bow in one swift motion. His eyes dart back and forth trying to find the source of the noise amongst the dreary forest.  Then, he sees it. A goblin scout, no more than ten meters away with its claw-like fingers quickly reaching back for his crude bow.  But Caspian was quicker, before the would be scout's body even hit the ground Caspian had another arrow ready,  just to be sure. He had learned his lesson about that, being ready.  After waiting a minute or two he came to the conclusion that the goblin was not getting back up, ever. So he carefully re-inserted the arrow into his quiver and set down his bow.  He then placed a hand on the hilt of his sword and made his way through the rain towards the dead goblin.

    "That's the third one this week, I'm getting closer." He said to himself
