Frisk sat at the top of Sans's and Papyrus's house, short legs hanging off the edge. Frisk saw Sans walk out of the house, so Frisk yelled down at him, "Sans! Up here!" "Huh? Oh hey kid," Sans responded. "Whatcha doin' up there?"
Frisk leaned over the edge, down at Sans, "I got bored! Wanted to try something new." At this, Sans chuckled. "Mind if I join ya?" Frisk motioned for Sans to come up to the roof. Sans walked away and walked up behind Frisk on the roof. "Took a shortcut," Sans said, scaring Frisk for a second and almost making them fall. "So kid. Whats up? Besides us, anyway." That caused Frisk to giggle.
"Nothing really... just have been wandering around... you?" Sans responded, "Eh, I've been doing absolutely nothing for a bit. Which is great, because I love doing absolutely nothing. I thought you might have something on your mind you'd like to talk about." Frisk shrugged, "Nothing... I mean I used to want to get to the surface but now i've realized.... that... this is home." Sans's eyesockets widened slightly. "So... you don't want to leave?" Sans asked. "Nope," Frisk said with a smile. "Well... I thought you were eager to leave," Sans sighed.
"I was... but not anymore... I like it here...." Sans was tooken aback, "Really? Even though it's dark down here, and a little bit crowded?" Frisk nodded. "You like it here... that much?" Frisk again nodded. "I don't mind it. I really do like it down here. And everyones so nice.... I don't wanna leave you all," Frisk said, looking down. "Kid... i'm touched. You like us all so much, you'd rather stay with us than be back with your human friends?" "Yeah... you guys are so much nicer and I feel... like... I belong... here."
By then, Sans had small blue tears coming to his eyes. "Kiddo? If you want to stay here, you can stay with me and pap for as long as you want." Frisk smiled wide and hugged Sans tight. "Thank you Sans..."
"C'mon kid. Lets get inside where its warm. I'm chilled to the bone." Frisk giggled and Sans grabbed ahold of Frisk's hand. "C'mon. I know a shortcut." Frisk followed Sans across the roof and they appeared at the front door.
"Alright, kid. Head on inside and get comfy. I'm gonna pick up some stuff, alright?" Frisk smiled and nodded, going inside the skeleton's house and laying on the couch.
Sans went to look for groceries, knowing that Frisk would need more than Grillby's food. "As much as I want to get out of here, i'd rather be down here with the kid than up there without 'em."
