Chapter 1

Music was loud, bodies were moving, and drinks were flowing. I did love a good party. And being myself, I always got invited to the best. I'd graciously ruled Upper Lake High School from the second I walked in the front doors in 9th grade. Oh, and trust me, being queen comes with its benefits. Firstly, I have three of the coolest friends a girl could ask for. You have Avery, who was essentially a mini me. She wasn't younger than me, but she just wasn't quite on my level yet, but she makes a brilliant second in command. Then there's Kayla - with her dark flawless skin, gorgeous silky hair, legs that went on for miles, and boobs that only a doctor could give you - she was the hottest girl in school after me of course. Lastly, you have Florence, a sweet queen wanna be from the year below. She's pretty but her most appealing feature is her Daddy owns every mall in a 20 mile radius which can only mean one thing: free shopping. I loved them to pieces, I really did.

The second benefit is having the pick of the boys. Every boy wanted in these pants, but I only had eyes for one: Henry Lucas. I mean I had made out with boys here and there but that was just to end my boredom, Henry was the real deal. I'd just hand those boys down to my girls. I had had a crush on Henry for years, but I never gave into our constant flirting. You can't let a guy know you like him, otherwise he'll walk all over you - that's what Moma always told me. He flirted non stop though, and I loved it.

And last but not least, the third benefit was this: an awesome party. I felt the music (and alcohol) running through as I moved to the beat, I could also feel a pair of eyes locked on to one of greatest assets. I turn around and my heart skipped a beat. Henry was slightly of the dance floor watch me. My eye catches his as I pull my sexiest, signature move. It does the trick and soon he is right next to, the only things keeping us apart was our clothes. I could feel that he was liking me - if you know what I mean - and I thought maybe tonight would be the night he asked me out. But, after a few minutes of gyrating, I felt a laboured whisper comes in my ear "I gotta go, Stell. I'll see you Monday." and he was gone. I look around to follow him but it was like he disappeared.

I downed the drink in my hand and headed to the bar for another. There I found my girls, Avery was making out with her boyfriend, Kayla flirting with some older dude, and little Florence Florence was sat on a barstool in the middle with a coke in her hand.

"Stella!" She squeals like she hasn't seen me in days, even though we came to the party together, and hugged me. I think she was glad to not be the 5th wheel. "I saw you with Henry. Looked like you guys were having fun on the dance floor." Her voice grew with excitement.

"Yeah it was nothing. Just the usual, him wanting me and me turning him down, so he left." I picked up a bottle and started mixing drinks.

"Shame." She frowned. I downed my first drink, and started to pour another when another person joined us.

"Hello, ladies." an arm was wrapped around my waist and upwards, obviously trying to cop a feel: Jay - Henry's very sleazy older brother. I elbow him hard in the ribs and he backs off me. "Ouchie." He smiles arrogantly. I face him and see he still has his arm around Florence trying the same thing, I go to get him off her but notice her looking adoringly up at him and accepted she was gonna have to learn this lesson sooner or later.

"Little old for high school parties?" I stared daggers as him as I sipped my drink.

"Chicks dig older guys." He winks at Florence before turning his attention back to me. " Anyway I'm only like a year older, so don't be a little bitch." I roll my eyes. "Tut tut tut. You shouldn't have such an attitude." He leans in close, so only I can hear, "Behave or I'll have to punish you." He goes to grab my ass but I rip his hand away and twist it behind his back.

"Behave," I whisper, "Or I'll have to punish you!" I pull his arm tighter so he feels pain, then I let it go.

"Your purse!" Florence exclaims. I look down to see my purse has got tipped upside down in the struggle and its contents is everywhere around me. I bend down to pick it up, and Florence helps me. When we finish, we stand up to see a worryingly sly grin on Jay's face.

"I'm gonna hit the ladies. See ya later Flo. Bye asshole." I pick up my drink and storm upstairs. Couples are strewn everywhere but with a simple excuse me from myself, all the girls jump up to let me through. I finish my drink while walking the corridors. Pointless pieces of art decorate each wall, and I think to myself "Who's house even is this?" I was pretty sure it was some girl from my english. I find a bathroom but it was occupied by the sniffers. I find no other bathrooms accept an en suit in the girl from my english's room (I found a photo in her room of her and her dad in a pink room so I'm thinking it's hers). I do my business but as I wash my hands, my relocation in the mirror blurs. I lose my balance and nearly end up in the bath. "What's wrong with you?" I mutter under my breath. I hadn't had that much to drink.

I wobble out of the bathroom and rest on the bed for a second. I sit there for what feels like an eternity. As I try to stand up, I get thrown back by something.

"Hey Honey." I hear the familiar voice of Jay in my ear. He runs his hand up and down my body, while keeping a substantial amount of weight against me so I can't get up.

"Leave me alone Jay." I slur, trying to turn away from his lips that were thrashing my face.

"No baby, You're gonna be a special treat." he pulls my dress over my head aggressively. Now I can't move at all, no matter how much I try. It's like my body forgot how to move my limbs. As I feel myself blacking out, I hear shuffling and a belt buckle. We can both guess what happened next.

When I woke up, I was completely naked, and my head throbbed like someone was hitting it repeatedly. I began to sit up, and suddenly my stomach flipped and I threw up all over the floor. I finished just as the girl from my biology walked in.

"Gross did you have sex in my bed?" She spat angrily.

"No, no, no." I slurred

"Sure. Oh my god did you throw up?" She shouted as she threw clothes at me.

"Yes, I'm sorry about that." My voice was a whimper as I got dressed.

"You are a state Stella Wilson." She shook he head as I Bambi walked to the door.

"Next time fuck and trash someone else's room." She shouted as I left her house and jumped into a taxi conveniently stopped nearby.

I gave the driver my address and leant my head against the cool glass. I didn't fuck anyone. I don't just have sex with people at parties. In that second the memories flooded back; Jay on top of me, pushing me down, undressing me, the feel of him touching me and more. I threw up in the seat next to me.

"Oi! That'll cost you extra, you stupid kid." The driver growled. I barely heard him, I could only hear Jays words You're gonna be a special treat tonight. It echoed in my head as it span. What did he do to me? Did he drug me? When? Then I remembered when my purse spilt everywhere and he had a smug grin when I stood back up. Then I remembered Florence. What if he drugged her too? I fished my phone from my purse and rang her. It rang 6 times before I heard a gravelly voice on the other end.

"Hello?"

"Hi, erm, hello. Is Florence there?" I panicked, my heart racing a millions miles an hour.

"This is Florence! Who's this? Stella?" She seemed panicked as well now.

"Yes. I just wanted to check on ya hun. You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I felt sick soon after you left so Kayla drove me home since she was sober."

"Thank god." I finally breathed, relief ran through me.

"What? You okay Stella?" My throat went tight. I didn't wanna talk about lat night. It didn't happen.

"I'm fine. Gotta go. Bye." I croaked and hung up.

At least Florence was okay. If Florence was okay then I was okay.

"We're here. $60!." The driver growled.

"$60? We drove for 5 minutes."

"You throw up, you pay up. $70, now!"

"But... you said... but... fine!" I shouted back flinging the money at him.

I jumped out and ran to my door. I stopped and took a deep breath. "Last night didn't happen. It didn't happen." I whispered. It was easier to lie to myself than accept the truth.
