Chapter 31.

Chapter 31.
I hear someone knocking softly on my hotel room door. I quickly get out of bed and open the door, Miss. Davies is standing there in a tracksuit.
"Looking strong Miss!! Let's get going soon!" She says
I am wearing shorts and a crop top, so I'm showing off my stomach muscles. I quickly do what's told and chuck on a crop on and shorts. I put a jacket on and tie my hair up. Then I quickly scribble a note saying: "just at 5th Street Dance up the road till 7, love you honey. Be ready when I'm home, we have to be gone by 7:30 xoxooxox :) <3" and put it on his phone so he sees it. Then I grab my dance bag and leave.
"You ready kiddo?" She nudges me
A: "ready as I'll ever be, I'm the most ready I'll ever be!"
"Good, hope today is extremely successful for you and I'm sure it will be!" She pats me on the back
A: "thanks, you're the best!"
"I know! Oh and, from now please call me Rebecca, because you're my student, but you're also my friend!" She asks
A: "hehe, can I call you Miss. Bec?"
"You can call me anything, anyway! Let's go dance!" She orders
We go into the studio and I practice my dances a million times over and in costume a couple times each. We do a 20 minute technique class to work on my turns, leaps and flexibility. Then we do a 15 minute meditation. I am thinking very deeply and am not paying any attention to the outside world. I feel someone behind me and they put their hands over my eyes.
L: "guess who!"
A: "ahhh! LEVI! You scared me!!"
I open my eyes and he sits next to me and pouts his lips.
L: "sorry"
A: "it's ok, I'm glad you're here"
L: "do you have your ring?"
A: "uhuh"
I pull out the ring from my little zip pocket on my exercise shorts and slip it over my finger.
L: "together forever"
A: "forever"
We are in the moment before Rebecca barges in:
"Come on you too love birds, we have a competition to win!"
"Woohoo!!" We jump up and run out of the the studio. Rebecca takes us to a little cafe and Levi and I get pineapple juice and croissants to go. We eat them on the way back to our hotel.
"We need to go and get ready kiddo, I'll get your mum and we will go into your room" Rebecca says
Levi and I go into our room and I start to change into my dance competition uniform, crop, tights, shorts and jacket. Then I collect my dream duffel and rolling makeup mirror. I make sure that I have my good jazz shoes and my costume. I have a little stool and all of my hair accessorises.
"Ok, let's get on your makeup kiddo!" Rebecca comes into my bathroom and we grab my makeup mirror.
L: "this is fun to watch!"
"Watch and learn Levi!" She says
First she applies moisturiser, then foundation, eyes, diamantés, lips, glitter and everything else!! We do my hair really fancy with all the amazing hair pieces and glitter hairspray. I put on my pink crystal earrings that match my costume and I take a few photos before we go out.
L: "you look amazing Amy! You're going to rock it out there!!!"
A: "thanks, I guess I do look pretty nice, I hope I do!!"
P: "ok guys, Amy do you have anything, you look so amazing!! I'm so proud, let's go!" Mum is rushing and is stressing out more than me!!
We go downstairs and hop into the car we hired. We drive to the dance competition and collect all of my bags. As we are walking into the room, there are screaming fans as we are entering the building, it's amazing all the support I have! Levi is holding my hand and we are waving to fans, people are holding signs saying "We ship Mevi!!", "American bound Amy!!" And so much more (A/N imagine when the girls and Abby Lee are going into competition and everyone is screaming), I can't believe I have a fan base!! When we go in, there is a dressing room with my name on it!!!! All for me! Ahh! We go in and set up all our stuff, I am at 10:00am, and awards are at 2pm. It is 9:00am and I have my costume on. We are running it through a couple times and just practicing with the hair and costume. After a couple of practices we touch up my makeup and hair and just sit for a while. When it gets to 9:40, we hear an announcement for all the girls competing for National Teen Dancer of the Year, to make their ways backstage, ahhhh!! I kiss mum, Levi and Meg goodbye and they all say good luck and all that jazz and go into the auditorium. I quickly gather the little box with the ring in it and ask Rebecca to hold it on the side while I'm dancing.
A: "oh my gosh, I'm so freaking nervous!!!" I am shaking my arms and legs
"You're on in 1, you'll be fine, you've done it a million times you've got this girl!" She says
A: "yep, I'll do it for Australia! I mean if I win this, I'll get to dance for Australia!!!"
"Exactly! Ok and go to the wings I love you break a leg" she rushes ago say
A: "thankyou I will!!"
I hear the announcer call over the loud speaker: "and number 221, dancing for national teen dance of the year, this is Amy Ross with Unbreakable"
I hear the upbeat intro of my song and I run and do the round off, backhand spring, back tuck. I nail every single turn, leap, jump, kick, flip, aerial, EVERYTHING! The audience is silent and by the end everyone stands up and roars!!!! It is the best feeling in the whole world and I know that I nailed it!!! When I get off stage I sprint to Rebecca and give her the biggest hug ever! She picks me up and we walk back stage.
"You were absolutely amazing! I'm so proud of you!" She starts to tear up and cry
A: "thankyou, it was such a great feeling, I couldn't have done it without you!"
I see the team start to walk up the corridor and Rebecca puts me down. I literally sprint so fast to them and Levi hugs me and picks me up and spins me around. Then I give a massive hug to mum and they all go on about how amazing I was and how proud they are of me!! I love this!!
P: "you were stunning Amy, I-I have never seen you dance that amazing before, I mean you're always amazing, but that was out of this world! I'm so proud and I love you!" She starts to cry and now everyone is crying in the hallway.
We sit in the auditorium and watch all the other dances. The award ceremony comes and Rebecca and I go backstage. All the dancers go out onto the stage and they start with the junior troupe, then jazz solo, and hip hop solo, then teen solo, and many more. Finally National Teen Dance of the Year comes. There were over 80 soloists in this category so it's HUGE! First they start of with tenth place, then comes 5th place, 2nd runner up, runner up and finally:
"And the national, teen dance of the year, dancing for the country next week in America is.... Please give it up for number 221 Amy Ross with Unbreakable!!!!!!!!" The announcer yells
OH MY GOSH!!!!! Is this for actual real? I get up and am crying my eyes out!!! I screamed and jumped up to collect my awards! This is unbelievable! Best moment of my whole entire life!!!
The lady puts a sash around me and puts the rough beside me, the trophy is about a rulers length taller than me, it's the biggest trophy I've ever seen!! They also pass me a plaque and a cheque with $100,000 dollars in it!!!!!!!
A: "I would just like to thank all my friends and family for supporting me and to my amazing boyfriend Levi who has helped me through this, but the biggest thankyou goes to my absolutely amazing dance teacher who has basically brought me up and has guided me to get here, thankyou so, so, so much Miss. Rebecca Davies! And also thankyou to the judges, announcers and back stage crew for making the competition happen and a massive thankyou for all the fans who have supported me the whole way! I love you all and see you at the Teen Choice Awards!!" I blow a kiss and exit the stage
Wow! This is amazing!
I come out the door and am surrounded by fans congratulating me and giving me hugs. Then I see Levi coming down the hallway. I barge out the way of the crowds and sprint towards him.
A: "LEVI!!!!" I cry and jump onto him, he picks me up and swings me around
L: "you were amazing!" He is now crying too
I then see mum, Meg and Miss. Rebecca. Levi grabs my trophy and I run towards them, I grab all of them in a big group hug and Levi complains that we left him out, so he comes and joins in the hug, it is great, the best moment of my life so far!
