Jada "Jai" Henderson is a young college student struggling through making rent, keeping her grades up, and getting over the recent death of her brother. Curious as to the strange and curious manner in which he died, she begins to conduct her own investigation into his death.

Originally born and raised in the depths of the hood, she continues to find her way back and stumble foolishly over a dope boy. Expected to meet her aunt and uncle's expectations of her marrying into a wealthy business family, her trips into the hood are hidden.
Andrea is a fresh high school graduate with a child on the way and a home life that is positively overwhelming. Her boyfriend of three years insists that she get an abortion. Yet, in the midst of it all is another who soothes her after every spat and argument with her mother and her father. With a family who insists on abortion and her own moral keepings, Andrea strugggles with making a decision.
Nicoletta better known as Nicki is a professional exotic dancer and a frequent stealer of men. She has no qualms about encroaching another woman's territory. Yet at the of the day when it's all said and done she goes home to an empty bed. With no true belief in commitment or anything of the sort, Nicki's jaded and uncompromising when it comes to her heart, dancing, and keeping her own codes.
When the unexpected throws all of these women together in the unexpected revelation of beings considered to be superior. The tests and struggles to keep all that they hold dearly and not fall prey to the stand up that seems to be taking over the area, bring forth things and times they'd never imagined. When secrets and pacts are revealed, what's a girl to do other than stand in unity and fight?
