I will return! The scene replays in my head over and over again as I sleep. Kal's face is implanted in my head, I can't get it out. What does this mean? I've never met Kal, yet his face is in my head at this very second. What should I do? My mom will probably never believe me, and I can't move...
Wait- I can't move?
I can't move!
Okay, satay calm Aggie! I tell myself. But I don't think I can stay calm while I can't move...

I open my mouth about to scream. I don't think so. The image in my brain tells me. And for the rest of the night, I can't move, scream, or do anything, which frustrates me.

I wake up with sweat running down my neck and back. I can still here Kal's voice in my head from my dream, which can only mean one thing. Kal has returned, and is seeking vengeance. Here's the funny thing though, Kal, like other bad guys, always come back to take revenge on the people they hate most, but end up losing in the process.

*Sigh* Villains never learn, do they?

I get up from my bed, and put on my slippers. That's when I notice that our house is awfully quiet. There's always noise here, especially in the mornings... I open the door to my room and walk towards the kitchen, and I gasp as I see what written in what looks like ketchup on the wall...

"Aggie, I'm sor"

It looked to me like someone was trying to say something... Maybe that they're sorry? But who? I haven't told anyone about my dreams...

...Unless...
My mom decided it was a good idea to "dream jump" into my dream😑
But still, even so, it looked to me like she didn't believe me either way...

I started pacing around the messed up kitchen. What happened here?
T

he cupboards were open, the plates and glasses lying broken on the floor, the fridge was tipped over, while one of the doors was over five meters away... And its contents formed a pile in the middle of the kitchen. It looked like a tornado flew across the house and no one bothered to clean it up.

The living room looked worse though. Our couches, rugs, and the coffee table were all relocated in different places of the living room. The stuffing was taken out of the expensive leather couches and the table had been broken, plus, the ashes from the fireplace littered the living room. Now I knew what was going on. Someone was looking for the Cromwell family spellbook.
