How they meet

Cinder POV

When I found my letter to Hogwarts my stepmother tried to keep the letter from me. But then lots of letters started to appear like magic. She got frustrated with all the letter and then a scary looking guy appeared. After, they spoke she got me and my stepsisters' the stuff we need for our classes.

She let me get a owl I named Moon.

As I sat in my own cart in the train, people doing magic running down the walkway laughing and playing. I ignored them and lifted my glove to look at my burned hand and ran my fingers on it. Then someone harshly opened the side door and shut it. I quickly pulled down my glove and looked at the boy of asian descent and dark hair. He quickly hide under the seats, then not even a second later a large group of girls were kicking, screaming and running past the rooms. My eyes widened then I chuckled at others girls.

"They're gone now, you can stop hiding.", I said not really caring tone in my voice at the boy, while reading my book of potions.

I glanced at him, watching him get up from under the seats and checked if the coast was clear. I chuckled at his caution.

"Thanks, for letting me hide here.", he said grinned and rubbing behind his head.

"I didn't really have a choice.", I said sarcastically, while still reading my book.

"Hehe...thanks anyway.", he said.

I looked up to met his eyes and smiled at him.

"No problem.", I said while looking down at my book again.

"Not much of a talker are you?", he asked.

"And not taking a hint is your thing?", I asked.

"Hahaha...you're funny. I'm Katio, but I prefer Kai.", he said with a small bow.

"Ok, Kai. I'm Cinder.", I asked looking at my book.

"That's an odd name.", he said.

"Universe given name I'm afraid.", I glanced up at him.

"Well I better get to my cart or I'm gonna get trampled again. Bye Cinder.", he waved.

"Bye Kai."

As he left a girl with blonde hair tied in a long braid came in.

"S-sorry, but t-there aren't many seats left.", she said with a stutter while nervously picking at her fingernails.

"It's ok you can sit," she came in and I held out my hand for her to shake she did as she was seating down, "Cinder."

"Cress. S-short for Crescent.", she said blushing.

"Nice name."

"Y-you are a first year too?", she asked.

I nodded.

Then, a girl with waist long curly red hair, brown eyes, and freckles across her face came in cart.

"Sorry, they are all out of seats without idiots in them.", her accent was French and she sounded irritated.

"Sure come in.", I said.

"I wasn't asking.", she said with a joking tone.

"I like you. I'm Cinder.", I held out my hand for her to shake.

She took it with a side smile on her face.

"Scarlet. And before you ask, yes like my hair."

"Hello Scarlet, I'm Cress.", Cress chipped in.

"Nice to meet you Cress.", she said while seating next to her.
