Chapter 3: The change

Here's where all of that changed. "So Molly I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me this recess with Maddy." asked Lexi a girl with brown hair that went to her elbows, brown eyes, and a beautiful face. "Oh uh sure but I was gonna-"Ok cool we'll hang out at recess then." She said cutting me off. As soon as that was over Abby came up to me. I felt as if someone had punched me in the gut. "Hey Molldawg (my nickname) what's up, are you ready to play some four square at recess?" She said. "About that...Lexi asked me if I wanted to hang out with her and Maddy at recess so..." I said stuttering. "Oh that's ok I'll just play with Haley have fun." Abby sounded like she was about to cry.I saw a small tear trickle down her cheek onto the rocky cement where we stood. I felt bad but Lexi was just so nice and cool I couldn't turn down my chance to hang out with the cool kids. That recess I hung out with Lexi and Maddy. Maddy is a girl with long, brown hair, glasses, hazel eyes, and she's kind of a hipster. "So what do you wanna do?" they both said together to me. "Um I'm not sure, do you guys just wanna walk and talk?" I asked them. "Sure." Answered Maddy. "So Molly, who do you like, and why?" Asked Lexi. "Oh um..well... I have a huge crush on that Kaden and why, because he's just really cute, funny,smart, athletic, and kind and I just really wish he woud ask me out he probably won't ever though." I replied biting my lip. "Cool, I have a crush on Aiden, for the same reasons." Said Lexi."Nice." I said not really interested in the conversation. "Maddy who do you like?" Lexi asked her smiling so wide it looked like a rainbow. "Well to be honest I also like Aiden." She said looking annoyed. "Oh, that's ok how about this, if he ever asks one of us out we'll say no because it wouldn't be fare to the other person." Lexi stated calmly."Ok." Maddy said with a smirk. That day I went home thinking about what happened at school. I was so happy I finally got to hang out with the cool girls but this time they weren't the mean girls that are popular, they're those girls that are popular but nice to most people. I went to bed and had the weirdest dream. I was in an apartment with lots of stairs, a pool, and all the buildings were white. I stood outside the creamy looking door and saw Kaden. "Hey Molly can I talk to you?" He said. I smiled and blushed so much I hoped he didn't notice it that much."Sure what is it?" I answered. "Um well, I was wondering if you would go out with me." He smiled and looked nervous biting his lip just like I did whenever I was. "Sure, why not?" I answered quickly. Then the dream was over. The rest of the night I daydreamed of him asking me out I was getting my hopes up, but as I say, no one knows what the future holds.
