Today is March 12th, 2016. I lost track of the day because I find it useless. I don't have school today though so I can relax in my room for a short while before I begin to think negatively and slip into a depressing fit of sadness.

"...hey," something spoke faintly. I looked up from my bed and saw nothing. The small room with Star Wars posters and song lyrics all over the walls reassured me I was okay. "Hey!" the voice was clear. I looked towards the window on the right side of the room and noticed a petite head studying my face.

"Hey Henry, let me in." I found it strange that she required entry from a window instead of the front door, but Ella has her ways. I got up from my bed, trying not to ruin the bedding with my OCD self, and opened the window. The screen was removed before I had a chance to say anything. "Why are you in my window, El?" I asked her as she vaulted over and landed on her feet. "I'm not in your window, I'm in your room." She looked at me and then hopped on my bed, ruining the bedding.

Ella wore her usual purple hoodie and black pants with a black beanie and some old shoes. Her hair was short so she liked to keep her head warm, especially in this winter Californian weather. But for some reason, I don't notice how beautiful she tries to look sometimes. Some days she'll storm out of my house angry because I didn't compliment her makeup and accessories. She thinks I'm gay, and I honestly don't mind because I think I'm gay too.

"What do you need? Why didn't you tell me you were coming over?" I pushed her off of the bed and fixed the bedding that kinda bothered me. She got back on and looked at me, now smiling. She took a deep breath before spewing incomprehensible words. "IGOTTICKETSTOSEETWENTYONEPILOTSNEXTWEEKANDMYMOMSAIDICOULDTAKEYOU!" She squealed. I blinked. "Can you say that a bit slower?" She sighed impatiently and rephrased, "We're gonna see Twenty One Pilots live." My eyes widened and I was smiling yet speechless.

"Nah I'm joking." She said and I almost started to cry. " You piece of shit, get out." She laughed at me and ran to the other side of the room. I walked around the bed and ran towards her. "Get out!" I yelled again. She dodged me and jumped over the bed. "If you let me stay, I'll tell you the truth..." she looked back at me and winked. I groaned and sat in the chair by my desk. "Fine."

"Listen," she said as she, finally, carefully set herself down on my bed and faced me, "I do have the tickets." I nodded, secretly shaking in excitement. "But the concert isn't until June. Can you hold on to your ticket until then?" She pulled a small paper from her hoodie's pocket and handed it to me: the concert ticket. I nodded once more and followed with a "Hell yeah!" She giggled and took off her beanie, which she only did if she planned to stay a while. I reached over and grabbed my phone, an Android, and unlocked it. At the same time, I put my ticket in the drawer on my desk for safe keeping.

"Thank you so much, Ella," I said as I looked back at her. She didn't respond but she nodded. I found a music file on my phone and began playing my music as a celebration. "The Judge" by Twenty One Pilots played first.

About an hour later, my mom walked through the door and saw Ella on my bed, using her phone. She then looked at me, who was almost surprised to see her. "Hey Ella baby, how was therapy?" My mom asked, standing in the door way. "Uh... better, I guess." She answered awkwardly. She looked at me and raised her eyebrow, which signified 'Help me?' in a way. She didn't take therapy questions well and usually snapped. "Okay, let me know if you two need anything." And she walked out of the room silently.

When she was a few feet away, she yelled "Especially condoms" and we blushed. She scooted closer to me and laughed. "Because we're totally gonna need those."

As soon as I realized what she said, I snapped my face towards hers just to see her on the bed, unable to breathe. I giggled, "El, you're fucking dumb." She looked at me as Glowing Eyes began to place and we laughed. Ella was my best friend.

"Yo douchebag," she said, five minutes later,"can I stay the night?" She shuffled to her feet and walked towards my desk. She dragged my beanbag from under it, set it right next to my chair and sat it it, trapping me. "Yeah, if my mom's okay with it." I looked at her, and she looked relaxed beyond imagination. My biggest concern was... why?
