It wasn't running that fast,
The seconds passing made it the past.
The scene I saw was amidst a face,
On the railway stations busy haste.

The innocence in her eyes
The lips that had no lies,
The ears that knew not much,
With her an old man with a hunch.

When the world waited for an early arrival,
I wondered if my only rival
Peace, sat on her face with dignity,
As if it were to mock me.

It looked like she had all the time
So curious, she was just so fine.
An ant on the ground,a flying bird,
Common noises she had never heard.

Observing all these petty things,
She glanced upon my pretty ring
And as her chin lifted up,
Her eyes met mine, and she got up.

Had I any expression to share?
I questioned myself, but my answer was there...
In the effortless smile of a three year old,
Which struck me so much greater than gold.

Time had never passed so fast
But the binding spell that she had cast,
Captivated me so magically
Time had stopped momentarily.

The honking train interrupted me
But really could it be?
Something in my heart held me back
And I moved away from the railway tracks.

This wasn't the way to get back on track,
I was leaving cuz life has no hacks
The girl sure did go her way,
But left behind a message so gay.

This glorious life meant to celebrate
The ups and downs are part of fate
But if each second is lived to the fullest,
This journey would be a glorious fest.

The common folk isn't meant to flatter,
They sure will have such perfect matter
To put you down,
And make you frown.

Move ahead is all you do...
Like the lil girl enjoy nature's groove.
Because one day when ure standing tall,
All the mention will be worth the fall.
