B&C Part 2

I pulled out my phone to check the time, I pressed the home button and a picture of my 10 month old niece flashed up on the screen. I smiled at her as she stared back at me with her curly hair framing her chubby face. Looking at her beautiful face makes me wonder how sick a person must be mentally to leave their baby It's really sad that her mum left her with my brother, the thought angers me.

I checked the time which read 8:45pm and looked out the window to see we were a couple doors away from Alicia's I nodded my head to the beat of the song currently playing it was a remix to the one take riddm as we pulled up to Alicia's I said thanks to Luke and grabbed my bags and went to stand by Alicia's door as she talked to him through the window she walked over to me smiling, he took off down the road as she opened the door letting us in, we went up to her room and put our bags down then went to greet her parents "you ok girls" her mum said, Alicias mum was really beautiful she looks just like her caramel skin ,chinky asian eyes , long brown hair that reached her mid back and a curvy figure for a lady in her early forties she really looks good for her age
"im fine thanks Ms Cai" I smiled at her "thats goods call me if you need me im gonna be in my room" she smiled at us "ok night mum"
Alicia replied "goodnight" we  made our way back to alicias bedroom "hey Tari I was thinkinh about dip dying the ends of my hair blond for my bday" she randomly said as we put on our night clothes "yeah that will look good on you"I thought about it and gave my honest opinion "duhh thats why i said it"I thew a pillow at my best friend as she laughed and threw one back "wanna watch a movie " she grinned "sure" we decided on legally blonde she went to get some popcorn while I turned on her Netflix we hoped into her double sized bed as it started.

I woke up in the middle of the night not being able to sleep, I turned on my side to see Alicia fast asleep I checked the time which read 3:15am I sighed and turned on my overside and stared at her pink wall, images of that night keep playing in my head no matter how hard I tried to erase them

*flashback*

Im walking through an ally way its dark but its the quickest way home it seemed clear from this side so I quicken my past " oii bitch" I turn round to see about 10 blacked out figures running towards me Im running as fast as I can but I dont seem to be going anyway someone pushes me towards the ground I lose my balance and fall face foward I can feel a hard kick to my side  but soon the kicking turned to stamping I tried to fight back but lets be real here 10 against one. They kept swearing at me I noticed one of the voices was a girls voice it sounded familiar she screamed "finish her" I put my body in foetus position and prayed they'll stop a I started to feel myself loose consciousness just as I thought it couldn't get any worse I felt something sharp and cold pierce through the side I let out a peircing scream as warm liquid poured out of my body the kicking stopped as they ran away leaving me laying in a pool of my own blood my eyes rolled to the back of my head and everything went black  "TARIYAAAH" A deep voice shouted my name before everything went all black.

*beep* *beep* *beep*
I opened my eyes confused blinking I tried to adjust to the brightly lit room
*beep**beep**beep*
Ahh the fuck is that noise I turn my head to my left a horrible pain Shot through my hole body I look around the room and realised im in a hospital bed "tari" a tall boy runs to me side it takes me a minuet to realise it was my older brother Trent "your awake"
I tried to speak but my throat was dry I decide on noddinh he presses a red call button that is connected to my bed not long after a doctor rushes inside "good morning miss Brooks your awake im gonna ask you a thew questions ok" he smiled brightly at me holding a clipboard "but first do you want some water" I nodded and my brother poured me a glass and held it to my mouth as I feel too weak to do it myself "ok ms Brooks can you tell me your full name"
"Tariyah Marie Jhene Brooks "I said in a raspy voice
"Good and do you know what day it is " he looked up at me from his clip board
well lets see if yesturday was Wednesday 20th then...
"yes its thursday 21st june 2015" he looked at me weird and turnt to my brother "umm Tariyah" the docter said looking worried "its friday 2nd of august" I looked at him dumbfounded
"What" I choked up

*end of flashback*

Subconsciously I found myself touching  the not yet fully healed wound just above my hip my brother told me the one who did it got arrested and the others have ghosted he also said when I remember fully tell him everything that happened even though the incident was months ago im still tryna get my memory back but sometimes im not sure I really want to.
