Caleb's POV

"It's 80's night at The Rainbow Drop we have to go!" Sam burst through my bedroom door and threw himself down on my bed with his arms behind his head watching me through narrowed eyes. "What are you doing?"

I was standing in front of the full length mirror on my closet door inspecting my face. I wasn't being vain in my inspection, I got plenty of dates so I knew I was at least pleasing to the eye, no I was looking for bruising. "That ball hit me hard today I don't think it's left a mark though."

"Sweetie, you're gorgeous no matter what. Besides I thought you'd be used to balls coming at your face." Sam grinned cheekily and ducked when I threw a pair of balled up socks at him. "Ew I hope those are clean."

"I can't believe you said that. Does Roy know what a filthy mouth you have?" I chuckled falling back on the bed beside him.

"Of course, that's why he loves me." Sam sobered suddenly. "I'm sorry I missed your volleyball tournament Jerry told me what happened." Jerry was on my volleyball team and a good friend of Sam's. Jerry had introduced me to Sam two years ago when I was looking for someone to share an apartment with. We'd become fast friends and now I couldn't picture having a better friend.

"I jumped when I should have ducked," I scoffed. "It was a stupid accident but I'm fine. Now what were you saying about the club?" I turned to my side raising up on one arm to look down at Sam.

"It's 80's night, you know for Valentine's Day."

"But it's Saturday it's not Valentine's day until tomorrow." I sighed and fell onto my back again. "It's the one day of the year I hate being single."

"Then we'll find you a man tonight." Sam stood and pushed at my shoulder. "Get up and find something sexy to wear." I groaned, Sam was sickeningly happy with his boyfriend, Roy, so he thought that all of his friends should be paired off too.

"I don't want a man," I lied.

"Yes you do. I'll meet you by the front door in thirty minutes so start moving your edible little butt." Sam giggled.

"I'm telling Roy that you think my butt is edible." I laugh watching Sam saunter out of my room.

"Go ahead, he thinks it's edible too." He stuck his tongue out and closed the door on my shocked face.

Thirty-two minutes later I met Sam at the door. I was wearing faded grey jeans that clung to me like a second skin and a deep blue shirt with a logo saying 'I was born in the 80's'. My hair was styled that just rolled out of bed way that men seemed to like on me and I'd topped the look off with a leather jacket and biker boots.

"You look completely fuckable." Sam drooled.

"Roy seriously needs to put a muzzle and a leash on you." Sam was wearing tight blue jeans, the ones that he said made his ass pop, a baby pink shirt and his ever present silver choke chain. His hair was spiked and highlighted with glitter. "Why is there glitter in your hair?" I inquired.

"It's 80's night, duh!" He said like that really explained anything.

I followed him out to find Roy waiting for us with his car idling at the curb. It didn't take the three of us long to get to the club but finding a space to park was a real bitch. Finally Roy found a space and we all climbed out of the car. "Quinn is working the door tonight, he said to just walk up passed the queue and he'd let us straight in," Roy said. Quinn was Roy's brother and even though he worked as a bouncer for a gay club he was straight. It was a real pity because Quinn was smoking hot.

We had to walk two blocks back to The Rainbow Drop's entrance where we saw Quinn looking intimidating with his arms crossed over his chest. Roy exchanged a few words with his brother and then walked into the club with his arm around Sam. I brushed up against Quinn as I stepped passed the barrier and winked at him. "When are you going to come to your senses and realize you're gay?" I purred.
