I woke up at 8:00 am, same time as usual. Today was the day of my annual camping trip with Emii, my best friend of about 12 years. I got out of bed, got dressed, did my make up and went downstairs for breakfast. once I had finished my breakfast, I grabbed my iPhone and dialled her number. She asked me if her boyfriend Harry could come, I couldn't say no to her since I had secretly arranged for my boyfriend Josh to come.
We got to the meeting point (starbucks) and ordered some coffee to keep us awake and carried on driving towards the forest down south. About an hour later, at around 6pm, we all arrived at the forest and set up the tents.
Once the tents were set up, we got our fold up chairs and started a fire to stay warm. We sat and talked for hours on end. I finally checked the time on my phone and saw it was 11:58pm.
''I'm gonna go to bed now Amii'' Emii said. ''Ahh, me too then.'' replied Harry with a cheeky look.
''Don't you just love them two?'' I asked Josh with a slight laugh but he didn't answer me. So I turned round to see himv staring into the bush by us. ''What's the matter babe?'' I asked him. ''I saw something, that's all, I love you so much.'' he said back to me.
We all clambered into our tents and about 10 minuets passed when I heard Emii wake up. She came into my tent and said ''there's something out there, come and have a look with me.'' So, I walked out of the tent and Josh followed. There was a rustle in the bushes and something jumped out of them, grabbed Josh, pulled him into the bushes with it and started making noises stranger than a spider with wings.
A few moments passed and I stood up for myself and Josh and started to scream ''LET HIM GO YOU MONSTER!" and Josh was thrown out of the bushes with part of his arm eaten off. We woke up Harry and rushed off in the car to the Hospital and they took him off to sort it out. While we were waiting, the police came up to us and told us that they were investigating a case with the exact same thing and knew what the creature was. ''It's a teenaged girl named Frankie who got lost in the woods when she was six. Her parents never went back for her so she started killing to eat. You are lucky your friend is alive. A few more moments and he would of been dead.'' said the police with a sign of respect.
Josh was wheeled out of the emergency room and we all agreed to never go back there again because of what happened.
One year has passed since that accident. All four of us see Frankie occasionally out and about. The weird thing about it is, her parents went back for her the day after we left. She has improved on her diet greatly as she is a vegetarian now!
Just kidding, she ate her parents through to the bone when they went back for her.
There has been one case though, where she took someone and they became boyfriend and girlfriend. I wonder what has happened to him, people say she ate him. But no one knows...
