Jemma POV:
I had jumped.
Until somebody grabbed my hand. I immediately knew who it was. "Hello again, Jemma." Even says. "This is not how I thought we were going to meet again. And remember when you applied for the Pop Tart Cafe?"
"Yeah I remember." That was the day I found out about Jonathan and Kennedy and the little fucking they had.
"Sorry. You weren't accepted."
Damn it!
"Who the hell are you?!" I hear someone shout, specifically at Evan. I turn my head to see who it is. It's Dan.
"Dan!" I get myself out of Evan's arms and run into Dan's safety. "I'm sorry Dan. I had to. It seemed like the only opinion." This is where I start to sob.
"It seemed like the world was against me. Like it didn't need me anymore. And when Evan arrived I..." He cut me off my saying,
"You don't need an explanation to why you did this Jemma. All I know is that you're safe and alive." He hugs me the tightest I've ever been hugged.
I sob into his warm coat, while he cries into my shoulder. Here we are, in the cold London air. "Hey, man. Get away from her. She obviously doesn't need you. She needs me."
"Evan, just shut up okay. I love him with my heart. I used to love you until you left and you got me admitted into a mental hospital."
Dan pulls me back into a hug and whispers in my ear, "Jemma I'm so sorry okay. I wish I never let you leave my house." I fall to his knees, sobbing.
"Dan I'm sorry too. I love you and I thought the only option was to eliminate myself!" At this point, Luna, Jonathan, and Kennedy are all looking at us like we have mental problems, which we probably do.
"Just shut up! Dan doesn't love you, and you don't love him." Kennedy snaps at us. She looks me dead in the eyes and says, "You and Evan."
I just fall to the ground and say, "Can everyone just stop it! I love Dan okay. I'm over Evan." Jonathan shakes his head no.
"Then why did you jump when you saw him?" Jonathan, please stop. "When we were in college, you loved him. He was your everything. The reason, you woke up in the morning."
"Well guess what Jonathan. I found myself a new reason to wake up in the morning. Someone new to love. His name is Daniel Middleton."
"Same okay. Luna you can try to split us apart. I prefer her over you any day. On the first day I already preferred her cause if I didn't then I would've gone straight to you not caring about her."
"But Dan. You loved me before you even met her. We were a thing and we were supposed to last forever. But..."
"But you know what?! I found someone new. I loved you, until I found someone else. Okay, can we please stop we are atop the London bridge and..."
He stops and pulls me in for a kiss.
A kiss in the London air, around everyone who hates us together. Around strangers. Possible TeamTDM. But most importantly, I am around Dan.
