After a little while, the master spoke up. "Thanks to all the other kittens who've tried." Every kitten was angry, especially Kate. Kate was a beautiful cat, with white fur and pink ears, and pink tail. She knew she would be picked. But that didn't happen. Her enemy was Wren. Wren has beautiful gray fur, with stripes and blue eyes. Kier was her twin. The kits went over to the food stand, and the apprentices had to follow the master. While the master was walking down the steps, a cat from a tree bit off his ear, and got blood all over his mouth. The battle has begun.
"...Urgh..." The master squeaked. "Master!!" Keir and Wren screams. The warrior cat from Mica glared at them and smiled, a bloody smile. The caretaker motioned the kits to follow, and the kits rushed to her. "Hurry! There's a passage way through the forest!" The caretaker lead the kittens through the dark forest. The guards sprang into action. "Hurry Keir! There's no time to watch!" Benji and Keir followed Wren, soon they got up to the caretaker. "What happened?" Wren said quietly, as she stepped on a twig. "War has begun." The caretaker replied.
The wave of kits followed the leader. "This is all your fault." Kate said to Wren. "How?" Wren looked puzzled. "If I were the FIRST apprentice, this wouldn't have happened!" Kate yelled in her face. "But.." Wren squeaked. "Hey! Stay away from my sister you feline!" Keir spoke up. Kate looked at Keir and went closer to the front of the line. Benji was sitting looking at the war, a tear fell from his eyes. Keir and Wren went to sit with Benji, soon the waves of kittens following the leader disappeared. "Its OK Benji..." Wren tried to calm him. "Yeah....lets go catch up with the kits.." Benji got up and looked around. "Where are the-" Wren got picked up by a Mica warrior and put her on his back. Then continued with Keir and Benji. "Hey! Put us down!" Screamed Benji. "We can't let you be seen.." The warrior whispered, and went a different way in the forest then the wave of kittens, and the leader.
