Chapter 1

Marinette's Point of View

"Marinette, there is something I've been meaning to tell you.." started Adrien. 

"W-what is it?" I stuttered in response.

"I have liked you for the longest time.  I didn't tell you because I didn't think you would feel the same way." responded a red-faced Adrien.

"I-I like you too!" I responded with my heart beating out of my chest. Adrien leaned in to kiss me, when suddenly.....

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! My obnoxious alarm woke me up for school. I sighed when I realized that Adrien, my crush who also happened to be an actual model, having feelings for me was just a dream. I knew that it was too good to be true. I got out of bed and got ready for school. I put on my little bag, with Tikki, my kwami in my bag. 

I walked to school, and I met up with Alya, my best friend, when I arrived. She happened to be standing next to Nino, Adrien's best friend. 

"Hey, Marinette! So I got some news for you!" Alya greeted. What news could she be talking about? "Me and Nino...well...we're kind of...um..." 

"Yeah? Spit it out, Alya." I replied with annoyance.

"Woah, attitude, Marinette! Me and Nino are dating." 

"W-what? when did this happen? How did..." Marinette stuttered.

"We've secretly liked each other for a while, Marinette. And hey, if you ever want me to help you out with Adrien, just let me know." Nino responded with a smirk on his face.

Marinette turned beat red in the face and cried, "YOU TOLD NINO?"

"If you ever want anything to happen with Adrien, you're going to have to tell him sometime. You don't know his true feelings for you yet."responded Alya.

"Hmmm.. well I guess you're right. Maybe I will talk to him. Look, here he comes now! said Marinette as she built up her confidence. Marinette stood with her head held high as Adrien made his way over to the group of friends. 

"Hey guys, whats up?" asked Adrien.

"Marinette's got something she would like to talk to you about!" announced Alya and Nino at the same time.

"Yeah? What is it, Marinette?" asked Adrien with a curious look on his face.

"I-I-w-want to tell y-you something. But I-I... need to go, bye!" cried Marinette as she caught a dirty look from Chloe, the meanest girl in her grade. Marinette ran into the school and hid in the bathroom as Alya and Nino did a face-palm and Adrien stood there, still, with that confused look on his face.
