*Marley POV*
Today is the day, it's been three and a half years of high school, but today is my last official day. I have already packed everything in my room and put it in the U-haul trailer that's attached to the trailer hitch on my new truck. I walked back into the house and hugged my dad, tears pricked in his eyes and I wrap my arms around him.
"I'll miss you, dad," I say into his shoulder. He pulls me in tightly kissing the top of my head. He then pulls away leaving his hands on my shoulders. "I feel like I have helped you grow up," I laugh wiping the tears from my eyes.
"You kinda did," he chuckles, "with everything that happened with your mom, you're the strongest of the both of us." He pulls me back into another hug.
"Yeah, dad I gotta go, this is a long drive. You called the school and explained that I am not coming in today because of early admission right?" He nods his head and grabs a grocery bag completely full of the snacks from the snack cabinet.
"All taken care of, here," he hands me the bag. "Byron is staying in your room to help me with my sobriety." I cringe slightly at his name. "Tell Geoff I said 'hi'," he smiles at me. Surprisingly he and Geoff hit it off when I introduced him. I nod my head and smile at him, hugging him one last time. He followed me out to the truck and waved goodbye as I left the driveway.

*Geoff POV*
"What do you guys want for lunch?" I stand up turning off my Xbox, we just finished a Let's Play in time for lunch. The guys slowly follow in suit, turning off their game systems.
"Anywhere we go, I'm taking Lindsay with us," Michael leans back in his seat. I sit back down knowing this will take a while.
"You okay there Geoff," Ryan smiles at me glancing down at my leg bouncing. I glare at him.
"You know why I am nervous slash excited. Marley -"
"Marley is coming to live in Texas with you!" The entire achievement office says at once. I laugh and glare at them all.
"You haven't shut up about it since after Thanksgiving," Michael says. I rub my face.
"Guy's we have a limited amount of time for lunch, just make a f****** decision, or I will." I smile at them. They all look at each other trying to come up with a place. When Gavin starts to open his mouth I quickly interrupt him, "pizza it is." I pick up my phone and order our usual pizzas.
"Gavin!" Michael yells, "why did you have to open your mouth!" Michael looks over at Lindsay who was sitting on the couch. "I'm sorry that Gavin is a f****** idiot."
Jack looks over at Michael to make sure that he isn't tackling Gavin, and when he see's Lindsay get up from the couch to talk to Michael he goes back to editing. Ryan is sitting back in his chair waiting for something to happen. I lean back in my chair again, my phone rings. I glance at the caller ID, I don't know this number but it's from Columbus. That's a city over from Marley, I leave the room taking my phone. I hear the guys in the back shouting "Marley and Geoff, sitting in a tree...", I ignore them and close the door behind me.
"Hello?" I ask nervously, she just left an hour ago. She called me when she left her house and I stayed on the phone with her until she reached the highway.
"Is this Geoff?" I recognize the voice, it's her dad.
"Yes, is Marley okay? Did something happen?" I feel my heart pounding in my chest.
