Saskia screamed at the horrific beast creeping towards her. It's low rumbling growl shook her entire body and sent cold shivers down her spine. As it approached her the stench of rotting flesh grew more and more. It made her gag. Soon it would be the end of her life as she knew it.
It lunged at her. It's razor sharp teeth bared and it's overly large claws were outstretched. It's blazing green eyes were full of anger and the desire to kill. Then she woke up.
She was sitting up in her bed gasping for air. Her heart was racing and her face was drenched in warm tears. Sweat dripped down her neck causing her black silky hair to get stuck to it. Her fists were clenched. It was just another nightmare.
Saskia used to be so full of life and happiness. Her puppy brown eyes always gave a warm welcome and her smile beamed like the sun. She was a gorgeous girl. Fairly tall height and amazingly slender body. She had a light tan and had the elegance of a queen. She also had the humor of a comedian. You could almost say she was perfect.
But that all changed when her parents passed away. She began to slouch and her eyes became dull. Her smile never was seen again and she became so silent. Everything important to her was gone due to a simple robbery.
Her parents died a noble death though. Well in her opinion at least. They tried to stop the thief from stealing all the lovely little stores money. Though sadly they were both shot in the attempt. They bled out slowly and were unable to be saved by the paramedics. Saskia was 14 when it happened. She was now 16. She was adopted by her best friend's family. Lillian Evergreen was her name. And now Saskia was a Evergreen not a Snow.
The nightmares were quite frequent for her. Lillian was always there for her and always gave her a reassuring hug that told her everything would be alright. Though Saskia knew that everything wouldn't be alright.
Lillian was always optimistic. It's just who she was. Her short blonde hair was always full of curls and her big blue eyes were full of curiosity. She was extremely smart and athletic. Lillian was one of the only people who could make Saskia feel better.
The only other person who understood Saskia was Rinn Starling. He was her second best friend and forever crush. He was a very handsome boy. Tall and slender. His eyes we a deep dark blue and his hair was jet black. His hair swept across his pale face and covered one of his gorgeous eyes. He had freckles over the bridge of his nose and had always a little smile on his face. His voice was was as smooth as chocolate and he could almost melt your heart with one look.
To bad he was the outcast at school. Everyone called him Emo or a total freak show. But he didn't care. So what if he liked screamo or wasn't a big fan of socializing... At least he wasn't like the "clones". (People that try to fit in and be like populars)
Saskia never wanted Rinn to find out about her little (BIG) crush on him. She didn't want to ruin a friendship. Though Lillain didn't help when she made constant little hints towards Rinn or picked on her. She still loved her though.
Saskia soon was back to sleep, dreaming about Rinn and his perfect body.
Hey my beautiful people! So here is another story that I wanted to start writing. The idea came to me when I was asleep in math and I just had to start another story. Leave comments on your ideas on how I should continue this story. I also would love some likes too. ❤️ Also here soon I was contemplating dedicating a book to just my poetry. Hell I might even post some of your poetry if you are willing. Well peace out my kittens!
