Well, here's my first short story. I started writing it during the summer and i'm only now publishing it because I was nervous about it, and I wanted it to be, quite frankly, perfect. I am hoping that those who do read it, will enjoy it. And if I happen to see any more possible errors while I go through it, I will fix them. And I also hope that my writing style and words can be pleasing to those who look at them. But, in any case, I urge you to read! And I hope, once again, that you will enjoy! :)
SHORT STORY
Mystical Love
He twirled me around delicately. Our hands were held together by just the tips of our fingers. And yet, the connection spread warmth through my frozen body. Heat shot along my arms and down my legs and up into my cheeks, turning them a rosy and innocent red.
I laughed as the twirling slowed down and the earth around me began to become still again.
Breathlessly I said, "no, Will, don't stop!"
Will laughed beside me and shook his head but obliged my wishes. Soon, the scene around me sped up again. Blues faded into greens and whites faded into yellows until it was almost impossible to tell earth from sky.
I knew I would fall a second before it happened. The images around me came to a sickening halt before seeming to spin faster and faster and I closed my eyes in vain, trying to shut out the spinning and twirling colours.

All at once, strong hands were under me and I was slowly brought to the grassy earth below my feet. I could hear ragged breathing beside me but He did not speak. I let my eyes flutter open after a minute or two and was relieved to see the world in its normal form and everything In its rightful place. I slowly let my blue eyes drift over to the wide open, forest green eyes of Will.
He was leaning over me and I could feel his muscular arms on either side of my head, his hands carefully avoiding my wavy brown hair that was spread out behind me. From the corners of my eyes I could see the blue sleeves of his long sleeved shirt. Gosh, he was close. I gulped the tiniest bit, and then a second later hoped it hadn't been very visible. I silently made my eyes travel up to meet his gaze again.
When he opened his mouth, I couldn't help but stare at his perfectly masculine and bow shaped,
Pink lips. But just for a second, and I snapped out of it.
"I knew you were going to fall," Will stated a little breathlessly, and then chuckled, "you never think you will, but you always do." He stared down at me for a second, falling silent.

Will's eyes met mine. His gaze was serious suddenly, his eyes bright. Ever so slowly, he bent down until his lips were just inches from mine. I began to close my eyes in anticipation, and my lips had begun to tingle.
I was aware of exactly when my eyes had finally closed. My eyelashes brushed the top of my cheek bones and I let out a sigh through my slightly parted lips. In the same moment, Will's lips connected with mine and fire shot through my tingling lips, all the way down to my toes.
His lips melded with mine and I couldn't help but smile against them at the contact. I felt happy...for the first time in ages. Something was finally making me truly happy, and that something, was Will.

Suddenly the scene was changing.
It felt as though I was being lifted from that meadow, suddenly ripped from a place of happiness , a beautiful tapestry was being torn apart before my eyes. The safe haven i'd been in just seconds before, was dissolving in front of me.
I was catapulted into a long tunnel, a tunnel of darkness and stars and moons. Along with other mystical things that seemed to twirl and dance around my ankles. Things uncomprehendable to any being of the earth.
I tried to scream, but nothing could be heard in this tunnel. The sound was choked back the second it tried to leave my throat. This tunnel of utter timelessness and blankness held me as its captive, and any chance of escape was seemingly impossible.
