It was finally the last day of school with so many emotions. It made me cry to know Lexi wouldn't go to the same school as the rest of us. I also cried the night before, because I would have to wait months untill school started again to see Kaden and the others. That day everyone was sad, but we tried to stay happy. The day was just like any other day but Lexi did something I'm kind of glad she did. It happened at the last recess. I stood on the stairs by our playground talking to my friends gathered around me. Kaden was about 2 yards away from us. Lexi then walked up to him and his group of friends. "Hey Kaden come here." She said grabbing him by the arm and pulling him to me. "Where are we going?" Kaden asked her. "Ask out Molly Kaden, she's been having a crush on you since her first day here she's been waiting for the day you would." She answered. There was a short silence and I blushed staring at my friends. But a few seconds later the principle came because he was a supervizor for that recess. "Sorry guys you can't be standing on these stairs where we can't see you." He said. I got mad but also sadder than I aready was. "Ok." We all answered. The bell rang and we went in line. I saw Kaden talking with his friend Aiden. "Hey Molly, Kaden likes you!" He said to me. "I know he told me a few days ago, we both did." I said. Its true, Kaden and I always texted and still do. And we did confess our love but no one got asked out. It broke my heart that he said he liked me, but never asked me out. We all went inside and it was a few minutes before school ended so the class sat in a circle and talked about our school year in turns. This is the part where Abby last spoke to me ever again. The substitute, Mrs.Stewart, called on Abby to say her favorite part of the year. "My favorite part was when Molly was my friend." She said staring at me. Everyone grew silent and looked at me some even smiled at me including Kaden. Then we went around all the way to the last kid in the circle. The bell rang and school was over. My friend Jade came up to hug Lexi and I crying, same with Maddy. Everybody texted after school and had sleepovers. I'm going to end this part of the story by saying this. 4 days after school was out, Kaden and I texted. This was a shock to me, he asked me out! I said yes and it was as simple as that. I think that if you love something, you should never give up on it. But if the person or thing you love doesn't hold onto you, they're not worth it. 5th grade has changed my life forever and all of my best moments and worst moments happened in it. I will never forget anybody from it or who I met. 2015 changed me and 2014. I thank everyone from the 5th grade for always sticking by me. 5th grade will always be unforgetable for me. The end, but to be continued untill next time.
