Yoongi looked at the little twinkling lights in the skies, his eyes searching each star for a distinct difference. He, of course, doubted he would be able to find one, but he did notice something.
A star shown brightly in the sky, another was hidden behind a brighter one, another one blinked faintly like a pulse. Bright then fading, bright then fading. But the most biggest, beautiful of them all, seemed to pulse slowly at him. It seemed to call to him, reach for him.
That's her. All Yoongi could do was keep his eyes glued to that one star. It has to be her. He closed his eyes, satisfied that the most precious thing in his life, stayed precious.
The girl that always had made him happy. The girl that sat at the brown wooden bench with a brown journal, sticky notes of various colors poking out of the journal pages. All she did was write, and every time he saw her, Yoongi couldn't help but notice her focused expression which immediately softened and turned into a smiley, beautiful expression as soon as she caught sight of him.
And when he was right next to her, all he wanted to do was hold her fragile figure close to me and kiss her. Yoongi wanted to kiss her like no other in the person could. He wanted to kiss her like there was no tomorrow. The sweetest and most loving gift he could grant to her.
Yoongi still wishes he could've kissed her more, could've held her closer, could've told her and shown her how beautiful she was, but be didn't do any of that enough. That's probably why she did what she did, running away in the dark of the night, and disappearing, only to be found broken and dead. He looked over at the journal, her journal.
The last piece of her left. He brought his hand over the worn out brown cover and slowly glided his hand over to the pages. Yoongi flipped to the first page there was, and read. Read to understand why things were the way they were. If only he could see her again, he would be reading this with her.
The stars pulsed and brightened as he read, but the biggest and brightest star stayed the same, slowly pulsing and waiting for him. She waited for him.
