chapter 6

I shivered and pulled my covers up to my chest. Ever since.. that creature visited me, I've stayed away from my house. For the past few days I have stayed with my best friend, Jade. She was a year older than me and had her own apartment. I told her about the incedent andd she said it was probably just a dream. Ever since i saw it, Ive had a dream every night. *the dream* I was standing in the middle of an empty street. I could hear watter dripping in the distance as I looked up to the black sky.  In the corner of my eye i saw a tall black figure stride over to me. I couldnt move my feet. I just stared horrified as its red eyes glowed in the night. Dark brown curly hair fell across his forhead. In the moonlight I could describe him perfectly. His skin was wrapped tightly around his jawbone as his red eyes dug holes into mine. He  smirked. A deep dimple indented his cheeks. Yet that did nothing to comfort me. His large hands held my cheek as he put his plump lips to my neck. I could feel his cold breath hitting my clammy skin as his hold on my face got tighter. his hold went down to my neck. He started choking me. Before everything went black I woke up. *end of dream* I woke up sweating with tears streaming down my face. I put my head in my hands and sobbed quietly. How foolish was I thinking this would end with the abuse.
