What I know of so far
Is the story I'm here to tell
Because people don't understand
On how I carry on so well
Without a thing to look up to
Or with the whole sky to hold
Because people don't understand
What keeps me so bold
With love is all you need
With that you can wake
Because people don't understand
You have to give as well take
With words you have to hold
And with that; bite your tounge
Because people don't understand
It's words that keep you stung
With hope on your shoulders
Spread it by the mile
Because people don't understand
That's the thing that holds your smile
With care, let you hands do
Because hurt, no one wants
Because people don't understand
The hit and kill is the thing that taunts
With this, your heart may be glass
But make impossible to break it
Because people don't understand
What people will do to take it
With every loss, you suffer
Make sure you stand straight
Because people don't understand
That's the thing that keeps your weight
I know you feel each scratch
Trust me dear I do
Because it took me forever to understand
That scratches bring up something new.
We all suffer within,
We all have a story
But it's our choice as to live it
Or to make everyday glory
