Chapter 13: About Me

Sonic and Rebecca were driving in Sonics car for what seemed like forever until Sonic stopped at a big beautiful beach that no one was on.
"Where is everyone?" Rebecca asked as she starred at the beach.
"No one really comes to this beach, so is perfect" Sonic Answered as he got out of his car.
Rebecca and Sonic walked down to the bay and looked straight at the waves.
"Wow, Iv only seen oceans from up in space, but wow, this beach is so beautiful" Rebecca smiled as she watched the waves crash to the shore.
"How's about we go in?" Asked Sonic as he gave Rebecca a smirk.
"Wait what, no, I don't know how to swim" Sadly said Rebecca as she looked down at her feet.
Sonic grabbed Rebecca's hand and ran to the water.
"Wait, Sonic, what are you doing" Rebecca yelled in panic.
"Just trust me Bec, this will be fun" Yelled Sonic as the started to run into the water.
Sonic stopped running in when the water was at waist level.
Rebecca froze and felt the water rushing over her, she loved every second of it.
Sonic then splashed Rebecca straight in the face.
Rebecca looked up at Sonic with a smirk on her face.
"Oh it is on" Yelled Rebecca as she splashed Sonic back.
Sonic and Rebecca played it the water for hours. They both got out so they could see the sun rise over the ocean.
"Is pretty cool isn't it" Smiled Sonic as he starred at the sun.
"Is so cool, thanks for coming out with me Sonic, I had fun" Laughed Rebecca as she starred at Sonic.
Sonic looked back at Rebecca, then looked at her necklace.
"What, is there something wrong?" Asked Rebecca as she looked down at her necklace.
"Because that necklace holds the Chaos Emeralds, how's about we test them out?" Asked Sonic as he got up from sitting on the beach.
"I don't know, Iv never done it before" Answered Rebecca in a worried voice.
"Trust me, it will be easy" Smirked Sonic as he stood in front of Rebecca.
"Ok, how about we try something easy, how about, a fire ball" Smiled Sonic.
"Ok" Rebecca waved both her hands in front of her trying to make a fire ball.
"Oh, I told you it's not going to work" Wined Rebecca as she pouted.
"Come on, your not think about a fire ball, your just doing the actions, think" Said Sonic as he pointed to his head.
Rebecca stood there and closed her eyes and thought.
Rebecca closed her hands together and opened them revealing a fire ball.
But when Rebecca opened her eyes, she saw Dr Eggman and Metal Sonic standing in front of her.
"AHHH" Rebecca screamed and threw the fire ball at them, then her vision disappeared and she saw Sonic lying on the ground with burn marks.
"Oh My, Sonic I'm so sorry, I thought you were, oh god" Rebecca cried out as she sat next to Sonic.
"Aw is ok, it happens, now can you tell me why on the first day I met you, you were bleeding" Asked Sonic as he sat up.
Rebecca stood there in shock, how did he know, does everyone know.
Rebecca then closed her eyes and told the story.
"Well after Princess Elise showed herself to me, I had to try and escape, but when the basement door opened I was thrown across the room by Orbit and Cubot, I had to clean up somewhere, so I didn't get any sleep, so that night when I was escaping, Metal Sonic found found me at started to attack me, but I was actually use to someone attacking me because I happens all the time, so yeah, that's about me" Rebecca down on the ground, worried about what Sonic was going to say.
"Bec, I swear, No matter what, MS is going to get what he deserves, you should not be treated this way" Sonic held Rebecca's hand.
Rebecca looked up at Sonic, she saw the burns on him, she remembered that Tikals emerald had healing powers.
Rebecca closed her eyes and opened them again to see Sonic with no burns.
"I did it, Omg I actually did it" Rebecca helped Sonic back to his feet.
"Told you you could do it" Sonic said in a cheeky voice.
Rebecca and Sonic just starred at each other not looking away.
They both started to lean closer to each other,
When Rebecca's phone started to ring.
It scared them both, Rebecca reached for her phone.
"Hello"
"Omg, where are you, IV been trying to call you for ages" It was Blaze, she sounded like she was mad and worried at the same time.
"alright alright, I'm coming back, I'll be there in about half an hour" Rebecca then hung up on Blaze.
Rebecca and Sonic both looked at each other and started to walk bad to Sonics car.
In under 20 minutes they were back at Blazes apartment.
"So, I guess I will see you at the dance" Rebecca gave Sonic a sad smile and opened the door.
"Wait" Sonic grabbed onto Rebecca's hand he pulled her back into his car.
"What's up?" Rebecca looked at Sonic with a confused face.
But in a quick instant Sonic kissed Rebecca on the lips.
Sonic then quickly pulled away.
"Ok, now you can go" Sonic released Rebecca's hand and looked out at the road.
Rebecca didn't say anything, she walked out of the car and started to walk back to the apartment.
When Rebecca walked inside she saw Blaze standing there with her arms folded.
"Aw you know what, doesn't matter, what matters is that we get ready for that dance" Blaze laughed.
Rebecca smiled and walked to her room to have a shower.
