Brothers Forever

Chapter 3

The three younger turtles were shocked with their eldest brothers behavior yea he's still the same Leo but there is this new darkness to him...Vincent really changed their brother. Back in the day honor meant everything to Leo and he would never break the code.....until Vincent got a hold of him.

Now he kills without question...Sky's the same way but she could have always been a killer they would probably never know. The female dragon nodded to her companion motioning him to follow....being the curious teens they were the younger turtles listened to them to bad they spoke in Spanish.

Sky's voice was soft "Leo sé que esto es un riesgo con lo que les permite luchar, pero .... que merecen. Los hemos empujado a un lado mientras que matamos al no decirle que necesitan para matar, pero hemos fallado dos veces que nos podrían ayudar (Leo I know this is a risk bringing them to fight but....they deserve to. We've pushed them to the side while we killed I'm not saying they need to kill but we've failed twice they could help us)"

Leo looked to the female dragon her crystal eyes were warm letting him know it was his choice to let them fight, "Su Cielo derecho ....yo simplemente no puede perderlos ya sabes ... si morían No podría vivir conmigo mismo (Your right Sky....I just can't lose them you know...if they died I couldn't live with myself )"

Sky smiled and looked to the younger turtles along with the blue banded leader, "Sé Leo .... pero vamos a estar allí con ellos (I know Leo....but we'll be there with them)" Leonardo smirked at his companion and nodded looking back to his brothers who each held the same confused expression.

Mikey finally broke the silence "Soooooooo....we still get to fight right? You kinda lost me with the whole Spanish thing." Raph elbowed the orange clad prankster for two reasons 1. He's Raph and 2. He felt like it.

Donnie rolled his eyes and glanced to the two eldest mutants with a questioning gaze, Sky sighed and spoke "Yes you are still fighting but you must train like never before...me and Leo learned through experience you must disregard honor....this battle is life or death we've decided to let you handle the goons they are easier to take down but you must leave Vincent to us."

Raph growled "What do you take us for Sky we were the ones to kill the Shredder if you don't remember....we took on the most dangerous man in the world and won Vincent is no different!?"

Leo straightened his stance putting on his leader face his voice was stern "Shredder is nothing compared to Vincent....it took us years to defeat him because we were inexperienced in any other fighting style...Vincent fights to kill shredder fought for power scaring his enemies but could never kill. Now you either fight without question or you all stay here....I don't want to bring you into this fight...but I am don't make me regret it."

With that he turned and swiftly walked out of the lab heading to the dojo, Sky looked to the younger turtles and sighed "Look we don't have to take you with us....but Leo and I have pushed our fears to the side and decided to bring you....Vincent is ruthless killing without a second thought, you would have to fight like him this fight will make you see the world differently."

The female mutant headed towards the lab door but before leaving she spoke once more "When Leo first arrived in Central America a few years back....he fought like the teen he is with honor...after Vincent caught him his innocence was shattered when he first killed it broke his spirit now he's just a shell of what he use to be....he doesn't want you to be the same."

To say they were shocked was a understatement....there's not even a word for how surprised they were, they knew Leo had changed but from what Sky said he's just broken....before they could question further she walked out heading to the dojo in search for Leo.

With Leo (No POV):

In the middle of the dojo sat a broken turtle....he had to stand strong and proud in front of others but alone he could let go, Sky was the only one who would ever understand what it felt like he didn't want his brothers to experience the same feeling.

Lost in his own mind he failed to notice the female dragon sit next to him....she broke the silence making the blue clad turtle jump "Leo you don't have to go through with this....we can fight alone like we always have Vincent will fall by our hand but you don't have to bring the others into this fight."

In the lab (Raph's POV):

I watched Sky leave the lab I couldn't believe what I just heard Leo was broken that couldn't be true....but it is. He had to give up the one thing he ever knew....honor....he had to kill now we are in this fight. Sighing I turned to my younger brothers "We have to back out....I know I don't normally run from a fight but if we go through with this Leo will blame himself."

Even if they didn't say anything I knew they understood....I nodded to the door walking over to it with them following me. I couldn't bare to see Leo break further I've never killed but he has and look at him he's just....different.

No POV:

The dojo came into view as the three young mutants walked....they were going to back out of the biggest fight ever. Standing at the door they could see their brother and friend sitting....what surprised the young turtles was Leonardo's shoulders shook but no tears fell.

Sky glanced to the door and nodded for them to enter Leo looked up finally sensing their presence....his emotionless wall had crumbled showing a scared teenager seeking for answers. It broke his brothers hearts never in their life had they seen this side of their eldest brother.

Donnie swallowed hard his throat dry "Leo...Sky we've chosen to back out of the fight....not out of fear of killing but fearing to lose you two." The blue banded leaders eyes widened with surprise he glance at Sky who nodded....he moved his sapphire gaze to his brothers once more.

The fear was replaced with a familiar warmth....the warmth that only Leo could muster...a warmth that could send chills down ones spine....a warmth only a leader could wear.

Leo and Sky stood and nodded to the younger turtles, the eldest turtle smiled some and spoke "Thank you....but fight if you want you deserve to."

The five mutants exchanged glances before Sky spoke "Well let's get to bed....we've got some training to do....then next stop victory."

The three younger turtles whooped doing a high three before darting to bed, Leo and Sky couldn't help but laugh. The male turtle turned to his companion "Thanks Sky....I believe we will win with them on our side," with that they headed off to bed as well because the morning is going to be something extraordinary.
