It was an sunny day in Florida and a great day for fishing. The weather was sunny with a couple clouds in the sky. As the sun rose so did the temperature raised. Around 6 am Mike woke up and headed downstairs to start his daily routine. He would take out a couple eggs and a couple pieces of beacon and bread. He had done this for years before he would go fishing. After eating he would pack his lunch before getting dressed. Mike made a living off fishing and he was pretty good at it until his luck changed forever...........

It was a sunny day in June. Mike had went to fish for Tuna and smaller fish. He had went about 100 to 200 miles out into the Pacific. The radio stopped working but Mike didnt know about the radio failing to work. He had some good luck with catching Tuna and smaller fish. The weather started to look ugly and get really nasty and the winds started the blow at 100 MPH. Mike knew he had to leave before his life is done for. He pulled all his lines in as fast as he could but the last line had a 45 lbs. Tuna on the line. Mike fought till his muscles was sore and he looked up and noticed storms clouds forming and panic began to set in and then his heart began to race faster and faster.

"FUCK IT!!!!!" Mike yelled as he cut the line with his knife.

He ran straight to the radio to radio in an SOS but radio was down and failed to send the distress call for help. Mike tried turning the boat back around towards land but the wind pushed the boat away from land. Mike had no choice but to let the wind take control over the boat is flipping over. Mike tried everything to get the radio to work but nothing did. It began to downpour and Mike tried calming down but the only thing that worked was the pic of him and his wife and daughter and the pic of him and fellow Marines he met back during his deployment in Iraq and Iran. Tears began to roll down his face as he looked at the pics. It reminded him of what made him a man. He sat down at the table and began to write letters to his loved ones.
