3 months to live. No life goals. Never seen the light of day. Kaia Morgan practically lives inside her bedroom. She's been struggling her entire 17 years of her life, and what's worse, she has been diagnosed with cancer. Her doctor sees her struggles and allows her to spend her last 3 months in the outside world. My eyes fluttered open and was faced with a dark room, like usual. There seemed to be a deafening silence downstairs, like usual. A sudden knock on my bedroom door, not usual.

This has never happened in my life. The only ever exciting event that unfolds before me, would be seeing a droplet of sunshine on the windows of my room, everywhere else is a dark shade of black.

I creaked the door open, revealing a blinding light that engulfed the surroundings of my room and there stood a familiar figure. "Hey..Doc, my appointment with you isn't today. Why are you here?"

"I...uh...have something to discuss with you. Please don't be shocked"

Panic plastered my face as i heard the dreading words that slipped out of his mouth.

"Why..?" I whispered "Why must this happen to me?! Isn't my life already a complete wreck?! Shock? you've got to be kidding me. How can you say 'don't be shocked' to someone who knows their life is about to end in a few months? HOW?" I exploded, I wanted to let out all the emotions out. I know it wasn't my doctor's fault, but i needed to express 17 years of pain to someone.

"I'm s-sorry. Although i have seen your struggles and pain from all those years, I have decided to let you go to school." 

A real school? Really? Me?

This is my first story, pleeease be nice and no copying. I would appreciate if you tell me things i can improve on or mistakes, but please no harsh comments. ^^
