-Monday, 7 days until Valentines Day.-

I sat in the cafeteria with my group of friends, Only a week until Valentines day, a day where all single people get to gag over couples kissing and cuddling all day.

"Alex, pass my drink please!"

"Oh shit, My homework is due next period, guys help me out!"

"Who stole my cake?"

"Maya's here, about time!"

Tristen and Jessie Both turned to Maya who sat beside me, Tristen showed a look like he was about to tell everyone one of his stupid ideas, or tell Maya about 'someone he knows who can totally help'. "Maya, I know how this guy who can help you study for the big test coming up, His name is James"

I rolled my eyes and Glanced toward both of the guys. "Wow Tristan, you seem to know a lot of people named James, and Duncan... and Bob, tell me Tristen, Is James actually smart or is he another friend you lost a bet to and you have to get him in with a girl?"

He clicked his fingers and pointed at me. "I didn't lose a bet to James actually, I just owe him."

"Tristen, James has no chance with Maya, sorry... and you can tell him I said that."

"Ouch, Alex... Do you want to get in with him?"

I faked a gag. "No...Thanks!"

"Don't be like that, he's a really nice guy once you get to know him."

"Then why don't you date him?"

Jessie choked on his drink. "Damn!"

"Your you, Jessie..."

He covered his mouth with his hand and shook his head, I could see the smirk under his hand. "Alright, I'm out."

He stood from his seat and left the cafeteria.

I placed my elbows on the tables and rested my chin on my hands. "And then there were three."

Maya shot her head toward me. "Huh? no, nuh-uh, don't bring me into this!"

I looked over her shoulder to see her phone. "What are you even doing?"

"Oh, it's just a website, it's pretty new and really popular."

"Educate me."

"Well, you create a profile and you type down a bunch of your interests and answer some questions, people look at your profile and if they like what they see then they'll send you an anonymous 'Love Letter', if you are interested in the person as well by reading their letter, you'll also send a love letter, and so on, you can keep sending love letters until the anonymous writer decides to click this button here, to make themselves  not anonymous anymore, after he does that you can see his profile and everything."

"And what is this website called?"

"Love at first type"

Tristen burst out laughing. "What?!"

I couldn't help but smile. "That's so cheesy..."

"It's creative, though."

I shrugged. "Looks like another website for perverts to talk to younger people."

"It's actually not that bad, I just use it for fun."

"How many love letter have you gotten already?"

"Only a couple, the way they type makes me think they are like ten years old or something... You should make an account!"

"No, I shouldn't."

"It's fun!"

"I'm fine."

"Come on! Give me your phone."

I sighed and reached into my pocket, pulling out my pine and handing it to her, She typed in my password and searched up the website. "Your user name?"

"Anything."

"How about we have similar Users! Mine's MiniMaya"

"MiniMaya?"

"Yours can be MiniAl, Because MiniAlex sounds a bit..."

"Okay, whatever!"

 I watched as she started filling out answers to questions and typing up my bio, this girl knows way too much about me.

"Ok, done!"

She passed my phone back and I slid it back into my pocket. The school bell rung and everyone stood up and started making their way to their classes, Maya and I have the same class now so we left together, I waved goodbye to the group and started talking to Maya.

"So Maya, what are you doing this afternoon."

"I have an assignment due."

"Due when?"

"Tomorrow."

 "Have you started it?"

She awkwardly smiled. "No..."

I clapped my hands. "Wow, 'I'm going to be serious in school this year'"

"Shut up!"

"Anyway we should hurry to class, we have English and Miss. Summers is back from her holiday."

"Oh shit! I never handed that essay in to her, she's going to ask me about it!"

"'I'm going to be serious.'"

"I said shut up!"

We continued talking until we got to class, Miss. Summers seemed in a really good mood  today, maybe this'll be a good week...

~Hello! You can probably see that I'm not the greatest writer but I really hope you liked the first chapter! It's a bit short but I want to be doing short chapters for this story so I'm able to write one each day,  :)
