-"today is going to be perfect. I'm going to cook you a lovely breakfast and then we can cuddle up all day or maybe go on a walk but today is just the two of us together"

Things escalated and we ended up having some fun of our own.
It was a bit later now and we had already had our fun for the day but I'm sure we would end up doing it again downtime today, I mean it is Valentine's Day. Nick was making breakfast in the kitchen while I was sat at the table.
-"there you go, one coffee and pancakes" he said
They had strawberry sauce on and on the side I had written i love you and it had a few fresh strawberry as well. Nick had the same but he didn't write I love you on his.

We had finished our breakfast and we were snuggling up in the sofa watching some romantic movies together.

-"aww Nick, thank you " I said. I opened it to find a beautiful necklace with sparkly diamonds on it " I love it " I said giving him a kiss

I opened it and read the most beautiful message ever :
Well Mrs Connor you got me well and truly loved up. The day you kissed me in the bistro at the wine tasting, I thought to my self why is Carla kissing me, I have brain damage, no one could ever love me, but you do. I was trying to think of the last time I had my period
-"I haven't had my period in 2 months Nick and I've been feeling a bit nauseous lately, what if I'm pregnant ?" I said
-" and is that a bad thing, I mean we can become a little family " he said
-"I would love to have a baby with you but what if something like last time happens " I said
-"darling you miscarriage was because if the stress of Peter" he said
-"yes but Nick I'm getting old now" I said
-" oh yeah like 41 is the new 80" he said " nothing gonna go wrong. Why don't we nip out and buy a test and then you can do it"
-" no need, there's one in the bathroom cabinet I keep in there in case" I said

I went in the bathroom to pee on the stick while Nick waited by the door. I then unlocked the door for Nick to come in
