Lilas POV

Right one way or another I have to get up , I have to eat some time and I don't think my stomachs happy now there's this much food on offer and I haven't eaten .

I've only got one problem blaze is like a rock ... And I mean a full macho rock there's no way I can lift him off me ... I guess I'll just have to be a ninja.

And that right there is how I ended up in a not so flattering position on the floor with blaze dying of laughter.

" oh stop it you oaf it's not funny " my firm voice just isn't convincing ,when I know I'd probably be wetting myself now if it was some one else... Oh well you know what they say if ya can't beat 'em join 'em.

" right ,right I admit it was pretty funny but dude I really needed to eat .. It's not my fault you had me in a death hold" I thought I sounded pretty menacing but you try glaring at a puppy it's hard work.

" ok ,ok" blaze finally admits whilst wiping a tear from his eye " but did you really have to release your ninja skills on me . Do you want to die" he says with a laugh threatening to pop out.

I know it was a joke and I know he didn't mean it but that doesn't stop the memories hitting me like a ton of bricks.

All those times they would beat me, push me down the stairs, taunt me at the same time as cutting my arms with silver. Too many times I wanted to die ,so many times they'd shout at me to die or scream, that the others should have lived and It should have been me that died.

These memories hit me hard, I know it was a joke.

I just try chanting in my head and that probably would have worked and eased my panic until that oh so familiar pain of Luke off with someone else decided to sneak up on me.

" B-blaze" I choke out ,finally he gets to the bathroom where I must have run too, guess I didn't notice I ran away but back to the issue.

"well finally ,sorry for taking up your time but hey I am in excruciating pain here" it started out as sarcastic but I have to admit I was panting the last bit. Wow who knew I could be sarcastic.

" lila what's wrong, I'm really sorry for making you cry, wait why are you in pain did some one hurt you? Tell me " the funny thing is even though I'm the one sat in excruciating pain seeing him all worried makes me want to go up and cuddle him. Ahhhhhh and the pain is gone. I should have known blaze would take the pain away. I'm sure most people who are mates will say this but I truly think blazes hugs are the best.

"there now ,is it better ?" he soothes

"Yes it is deary" I say kissing his chin ,which might seem strange to you but I am quite a bit smaller than him and currently curled up on his lap.

I giggle when he starts tickling my sides. That's obviously what he wanted because as soon as the stupid sound leaves my mouth he gets the biggest grin on his face, you may have guessed but I'm not really a giggling girl and I hate giggling it's probably the most girlish sound I have ever maid .Oh dear what is this boy doing to me. I got pulled out of my internal giggle rant by blaze getting up.

" Come on miss ninja lets go breakfast" he said smirking as usual. Wait breakfast now that's what I'm talking about and something tells me this pack doesn't treat people awfully and force them to make breakfast. Plus if the smells drifting up stairs are anything to go on we're having waffles my all time favourite food. I was about to tell that to blaze when it would seem he became in patient and decided to just carry me down stairs.
