The Act To Live

"Dad this Wolf is smart. Luna, sit." She told me. I had to do what she said of this could end badly, so I sat. "Down." I layed down. She looked to her dad. Nothing. Suddenly a man and his dog walked by. The dog started to bark but I didn't do anything but stayed in the position I was in. Now that is what amazed her dad. Cuase he thought I was gonna start barking right back. "She has great manners and great intelligence. What's her name?" Her dad asked. "Luna Hunter" she said remembering the name on my tag. He bent down to look at me. He gently reached to pet me, or at lest see if I would allow. He pet me and stood back up. "Go to your mom. You've convinced me to keep her. But if she dosnt like her we can't keep her." He said getting back to his desk. Melody nodded and motioned me into the elevator. When inside she didn't push the button just yet. "Is it weird? Walking on four legs I mean." She asked. "I walk on four legs is new, but I wouldn't call it weird. Where is this new attitude of life coming from? Is it because I'm a wolf? My dream animal? What ever it is I accept it cuase I like it." I thought. I nodded no to answer her. She finally pushed the button and the elevator moved. I almost fell but melody caught me. I licked her hand to thank her. She was surprised at the gesture but go the message. The elevator opened and a few feet from it was her family's room. Before opening the door, she reminded me about her mom and her opinion of dogs\wolves. "Now for her don't move unless ether me or her say so okay?" She said, more serious than I ever saw her. "If you want to live, act like you want it." She added. I nodded. She then went in, it was followed by yelling. "Melody! Your dad has told me you've allowed a dog into the apartment!" Her mother screeched. I looked towards the door. "I like to protest to that! I'm not a mere 'dog' I'm a mighty wolf! But whatever floats you boat I guess." I thought with a small whine. Then more yelling was herd. "Mom! This Wolf is really nice! Look!" She whistled me in.
