Lucy POV

Natsu and I were walking down the river on the way to my house. He offered to take me 'safely' to my house. What did he mean? I really don't know. He's been going on and on about how he wants to make sure I'm safe now that we are dating. He's kinda starting to scare me a little but knowing him I don't think I have much to worry about. Maybe he's just being his normal weird self, with Natsu you never know. That's why I love him.

Natsu POV

I need to keep her safe if they know that I'm dating her they will come after her and I couldn't handle her getting hurt because of me. I know she might think I'm just being weird and that is good but I need to protect her no matter what.

(A/N: So.. I hate writing "she asked" or she said or I asked so imma just put Natsu's words in italics and Lucy's words normal)

Well you see... I've been dying to ask you.. why are you being so weird about me being safe and stuff?

Well you see.. it's just because I'm worried. You don't have to worry. Mostly because when I'm on a relationship I tend to be very protective. Like a dragon.

Well that's a weird comparison, but I suppose your answer is normal... and here is me thinking you were a spy or something.

We arrived at Lucy's house and she opened the door. Then we said good bye to each other and I left. As I left a couple of blocks after I realized I was being followed. I acted like I didn't know and kept walking then I felt someone touch my shoulder and I immediately grabbed the hand and twisted it around their back. Then I realized it was Gray.
