Chapter 32

I woke around seven thirty (pm) and of course like always Matthew wasn't there like he said he would be. I rubbed my eyes while stretching.

I was still a little tired. But who wouldn't when you don't wanna sleep until you know that your husband's made it home. It doesn't help either when your still scared of the dark and he's not there too tell you it's okay.

I opened the bedroom door to hear whispering. I knitted my eyebrows together and slowly and quietly walked too the stairs.

I heard two male voices in the dining room. I walked down the stairs to hear Matthew and Sammy. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed my phone because i left it down here so i could sleep and not get bugged by people.

Matthew met Sammy at a party a couple months ago. They've been friends ever sense. They walked in smiling and laughing.

"I thought you were asleep baby girl?" Matthew says trying to kiss me.

"I thought you'd be there when i woke up" i shrugged and walked off, yeah yeah yeah i know i just pulled the bitch mode but i honestly don't care.

It's not the first time he's lied. I walked back up stairs getting in the shower, i got out and got dtessed. Sammy was still here when Matthew walked in.

"What'd i do this time?" he asked leaning against the bathroom door frame. I was in the closet that was connected too the bath room.

"You didn't do anything" i said pulling up shirt down over my stomach. "Then why'd you say that?" i shrugged walking out of the bathroom.

"Go spend time with Sammy" i said sliding my shoes on. "I didn't come home to spend time with Sammy, Lilly." he said bending down in front of Me. He tyed my shoe because it came undone. "I came home too spend time with my baby girl. But i guess i should've just went to meeting instead"

"Why?" was all i asked.

"Because there was no point in coming home when your leaving." he said he looked up at me.

"I'm not leaving I. just needed to take out the trash because you don't" i stood up and walked back down stairs.

"Hi Lilly"Sammy says as i walk past him. "Hi Sammy" i said back before walking into the kitchen and grabbing the trash.

I think it's funny how I'm the only one who does anything around here while he's just sitting behind a desk all day.

After i threw out all the trash i made me some pancakes and bacon because i wanted food. I sat on the sofa and started to eat i went through channels to find nothing good on.

"Yeah I'll see you then"

"Bye Lilly"

"Bye Sammy, drive save and tell Amanda i said hi okay" i said as he walked over to the door.

"Will do" he said and walked out almost everyone i knew was married.

Jack and Nakisha are engaged, Jillian and Johnson have been married for a couple months now. Taylor and Veronica are on their honeymoon right now. And Cameron is going to propose to Jasmine.

Matthew laid on my lap after i put my dishes in the sink telling myself to clean them later. "Lets Netflix and chill."

"No no no, we all know whats going through you mind right now so no" i said taking the remote from him.

"If you know what I'm thinking why haven't you done it for me yet?"

"Done what kick you out theres the door." i joked.

"No i meant you putting on that lingerie for me." he said kissing me.

"Keep wishing buddy boy." i said kissing back. "Your a tease you know that" he said when i ran my hand down his chest to his happy line.

"Muhmh" i said as he pulled away from the kiss. "I'm sorry I'm not always Here for you when you need me baby girl." he whispered laying his forehead on mine.

"Your here now that's all that matters" i said he laid behind me wrapping his arm around me i laid my head on his other arm and just slowly drifted off back to sleep.

-Matthew's P.O.V-
After Lilly fell asleep i couldn't help but watch her as she slept. No matter how many Times she says it's okay that i work late i know it's not.

I wanted too spend more time with my baby girl and that's what i was going to do.

I wasn't gonna get up tomorrow and go too work they barley need me anyway besides on Monday's Thursday's and sometimes on Friday.

Which means that on Tuesday's and Wednesday's are nothing but for my baby.

I started to zone out while thinking and found myself trying to sleep.
