Chapter three

Marinettes POV
I nervously walked over to Adriens house as I got a phone call that caused me to jump.

"Hello" I said stopping in my tracks.

"Girl where are you, I thought you were coming over this afternoon" Alya complained in my ear making me face palm. I forgot to tell Alya about Adrien I though as I sighed.

"Uh yeah I forgot to tell you that... I'm going to Adriens house to work on our assignment" I said already regretting it.

"Girrrlll that's so good! Tell me everything when you get back!" She exclaimed and just like that she hung up. With a sigh I continued walking until I came to a stop in front of Adriens house.

"Ahhh milady, what are you doing here?" A familiar voice asked causing me to turn around.

"C-chat Noir" I said as he came up to me and kissed my hand causing me to blush.

"You didn't answer my question" he said with his cheesy grin.

"I-I'm here to work on an assignment" I said as my blush got bigger.

"Ah~ wouldn't you rather come for a stroll with me?" He and wiggled him eyebrows.

"I-I would but I have to get this assignment done" I stuttered looking at his disappointed face.

"Maybe a quick stroll couldn't hurt" I said and watched his face light up. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into him as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Hold on tight" he said with a smirk.

"Hold on? Why do I have t- ah!" I cut myself off with a high pitched scream as we shot into the air via pole transport.

"Scared ya" he laughed as I hit him.

"You caught me off guard!" I yelled as we flew through the air.

Chats POV
We flew through the air not watching the time. I turned to her and caught her staring.

"M-maybe we should go back" she said making my smile fall.

"But why?" I asked but my question was soon answered by the beep of my ring.

"I guess you're right" I said as I placed her in front of my house.

"Goodbye Chat" she said and bowed.

"Goodnight princess" I said returning the bow. I flung off only to turn around once more, looking at her smiling face as she rung the door bell. I flung into a window and turned into Adrien.

Adriens POV
I quickly opened the door to reveal Marinettes smiling face.

"H-hey A-Adrien" she said smiling as I gestured for her to come in.

"Hey Marinette, how are you?" I said smile at her as she walked passed.

"I'm o-okay, how are you?" She asked nervously with a cheesy smile.

"I'm great, my dad's gone for a week so I have the house to myself" I said excitedly but the statement only made her frown.

"Isn't that a bit lonely?" She asked with concern in her voice.

"Well, it's not really any different from before" I said smiling as we continued to walk to the dining room.

"Oh sorry, would you like me to make you something to eat?" She asked with sympathy in her voice.

"Your my guest, shouldn't I make you dinner?" I asked with a wink causing her to blink.

"How about we both cook?" She suggested which made me smile.

"Sounds great!" I exclaimed as I grabbed her hand and ran to the kitchen.

"Okay so what should we make?" She asked as I handed her an apron.

"How about something your parents would make?" I asked thinking about their delicious meals making me drawl.

"Okay, pass me that pan" she said and with that, we cooked dinner. By the time we finished it was 9:00 and we were covered in flour.

"You've got some on your cheek" I laugh as I rub it off gently. I look into her eyes and blush, quickly turning away.

"If you want you can stay here, it's getting pretty late and I don't want you walking home in the dark" I say and she smiled as a small blush grew on her cheek.

"Thank you" she said as I walked her to a spare room.

"You can sleep here, if you need me I'll be in the room 3 doors down" I said as I started to walk away.

"Thank you! Oh and goodnight!" She exclaimed after me as she gently closed the door.

"Goodnight princess"
