My eyes fluttered open, I was blinded by sunlight. I blinked to clear my vision. I sat up, my body ached. I was in a small room, Poe wasn't there.

I stood up and had to brace myself on the wall to stay standing.

"Poe!" I yelled, my broken lips reopened as I spoke and I started tasting blood. I didn't care. "Poe!" I yelled again, my voice cracking.

I slid down the wall slowly and painfully, tears slipping down my face.

Suddenly the door slid open, one Zelonian man and a Zelonian woman in intricate wooden armor were standing there. They walked over to me and grabbed my arms.

"Hey, where are you taking me?" I said resisting a bit. The woman looked down at me and kicked me in the stomach. I stopped resisting and they dragged me my by arms.

They dragged me into the room where they kept Poe. They dropped me. My cheek slammed into the marble floor.

"Ash!" I heard Poe's horse voice yell.

"Poe!" I responded, pushing myself up, my body protested but I ignored it.

He was still tied to that table, he looked awful. Almost all of his exposed skin was covered in bruises and gashes. They'd been tourturing him.

The queen walked in. I tried to scutter away from her but the guards next to me grabbed my arms and pulled me to my feet.

"You're friend is stronger then we anticipated. He's resisted almost all forms of interrogation." She said walking gracefully over to me. She placed a soft hand on my hair and stroked it. I shook my head trying to get her hand off of me but I couldn't.

"It seems hurting him will not get the results we desire, he is too selfless, too loyal." She said.

"Don't lay a finger on her!" Poe yelled. My breath caught in my throat. The woman smiled at me, she nodded at her guard. The guard punched me in the stomach. "I'll kill you!" Poe yelled, I'd never heard him be so angry.

"Don't tell them anythin-GAAHh" I yelled as the guard punched me again.

"Stop!" Poe yelled, trying to break out of his restraints.

"Poe don't!" I yelled.

"I'll tell you everything I know! Alright?! Just stop! And don't lay another finger on her!" He yelled. I tried to yell no but my voice failed me, the air pummeled out of my lungs. The guards dropped me, my face connecting with the marble. "It's a virus, a new bio weapon. We've been developing it for years, the only reason I know about it is they put a dispenser in my ship to spray it on ground troops." He said softer.

"What does the virus do?" The queen asked struggling to keep her calm composure.

"I don't know, that's above my rank." He said truthfully.

"Thank you." She said. I closed my eyes, tears slipped down my face. The guards walked out.

"Ash, Ash wake up please." Poe pleaded, yanking at the restraints.

"I'm fine." I said softly. "You should've told them anything." I said sadly, softer then before. I don't think he even heard it.

"Fuck these fucking things." He said, I heard him yanking on his restraints. I struggled up, using the table Poe was on for support. I untied one of his restraint, he swung his arm over and untied the other.

He sat up and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me towards him almost desperatly.

"Are you alright?" He asked.
