Infinite ( a 1D fanfic )

It was quite the day for the members of One Direction. They were selected, after a harsh battle between the biggest bands on the planet, to see the Earth from 20.000 meters high, on board of the "Virgin Galactic" Space shuttle. They were announced two months before the take off, in order to be able to pass all the tests. Little did they know that this was bond to be the biggest thrill of their lives, so far.

*The day of the space journey*

Today is the day, right lads? Louis asked, happily.

"Yup!" the boys said as they were preparing to leave the hotel in which they were staying

As they exited the building, a "wave" of reporters, paparazzi and fans were screaming their names. Niall tried to stop and talk to one of the fans, but Liam grabbed his arm and said:

"We don't have time for that now! I know that you have a special bond with our fans, but this is neither the right time nor the right place to talk to them."

The boys got into the van that was waiting for them and managed to escape the massive amount of screaming Directioners.

*Later, at the Virgin Spaceport*

"I would like you to wait here until mister Branson can see you." the voice of a nice looking woman echoed through the large lobby.

The boys sat quietly in the white "Barcelona Chairs" nervously waiting for Sir Richard Branson, the financier of the whole trip, to arrive. Fifteen minutes passed, but there was no sign of the billionaire.

"Oyyy, he must think he is so great that he can't even show up on time. Bet he doesn't give a shit about us!' Louis said in an angry tone

"You must be Louis!" a deep voice echoed through the lobby. "I've heard that you are quite the sassy one!"

"And who do you think you are with..." Louis tried to say but was cut off by the Liam.

"Sir Richard Br..." Liam said.

"That perfect hair. Oh My God!" Louis said, trying to finish his last sentence.

"I, as you may know, am Sir Richard Branson. And you must be One Direction! Pleased to meet you!"

The boys shook hands with him and were later on show to their cabins inside the Spaceship.

"Now, this is all controlled by a robot that operates from the base, here on Earth. You will be stying there  safe and you just have to enjoy the ride!" Richard said.

*Later on, after the take off and at 20.000m above the ground*

The scenery was breathtaking! The boys could see the Earth and everything looked like it was one of those maps of the world that you have at home.

"Would you just look at all this beauty...." Liam said.

"I would rather look at myself!" Zayn smirked

After some long minutes of silence ( because the boys were amazed by the beauty of their planet ), Harry broke the silence and said:

"Lads, what is that?"

"I don't know but it is coming right at us!" Niall said, frozen with fear.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Duh, Duh, Duuuuuuuuh! So what do you think guys? Is it OK? There will be some surprises later on but they shall only appear when I update, thing which will happen quite soon. As for the story, I want to inform you that it is mainly a Sci Fi fanfic, but it will have a little bit of romance, maybe a lot, who knows? Oh, you know who may know?
