Hi my name is Raven O'Connor I'm 17 years old. I lived with my mom in LA but she passed away a few weeks ago and now I have to move back in with my dad. See the thing is it's not like I don't love my dad i do it's just he left my mom for another woman when she need him most. I have to live with him, three older brothers, & stepmom Jasmine. I guess it all can't be too bad right?
"Raven hurry up! We need to get back to Miami." My father yells.
"Coming." I grab my bag with food,phone, headphones, and book and head down staries. "Ready." is all I said then I put my headphones in and walked to the car it's going to be a long flight to Miami.
(Skips plane ride.)
We pull up to his house where my brothers and stepmom were standing outside waiting on us. Great just want I need a welcome party I get out and get attacked with hugs by my brothers.
" Rav I have missed you." Says my oldest brother Hunter he is 21 and in the Marians.
"Me too." Says Aaron the 19 year old art major.
"Well I shared a woman with her." Says Mason my twin.
" I missed you guys to"
" Raven it's so nice to see you again! It's been a long time." Jasmine says
I just look at her and not say anything. I look at Aaron
"Show me to my room?"
"Sure follow me."
I followed him inside the four story house. Man its been along time since I have been here. My room was on the second floor with the guys.
"My room is right here, Hunters is the right across from mine, and Mason's is next his yours is at the end of the hall."
He opened my door and I see grey walls with some black and red pattern on it a queen sized bed with black a black bed set. Its covered in the stuffed animals both my mom and dad got me throughout my life. A red dresser and some posters of my favorite bands and movies.
"Who set up my room?"
"Jasmine and dad." Aaron says.
"I like it. Pleas tell me I have my own bathroom?"
"Yes litte Rav you do." Hunter answered me.
"I'm going to shower and be down to hang out with you guys."
They all nodded and left I walked into the bathroom to see a big soaker bath tub and a walk in shower yup I'm in love with my bathroom. I start up a warm bubble bath in the tub. I strip down and get in oh my this feels so nice. As I'm relaxing I hear Lapdance by nerd so I picked up my phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey babygirl! How was the trip?" My best friend Nick asked.
"Long but I made it."
"Yea it was weird not having you in class today."
"Tell me about it I start this new one tomorrow."
"I'm sure you will make at least one friend."
"Ha I'm sure."
"Well anyway what are you doing?"
"Taking a bubble bath,"
"Oh no what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Raven Nicole O'Conner what's wrong?"
" Jasmien I don't think I can handle living here with her"
"Why?"
"She's the reason my dad left my mom. How can I live with a home wrecker?"
" Baby I know it's hard but you have to. Do it for mom."
"You're right I'll try. Now let me bathe I'll text you."
"Ok love you."
"Love you to."
After we hung up and I got out of the bath and got dressed in comfy clothes and headed down staries. I was walking by the kitchen when I heard.
"Tyler I'm tellin you Raven hates me."
"Jaz no she doesn't."
"Yes she does she won't look at me or talk to me it's like I'm invisible to her."
"Don't worry I'll talk to her."
"Okay I made her favorite for lunch."
"I'm sure she will love it." I walked in and there see me. "Raven good timing Jaz just got done making lunch." I nodded.
"Thanks I'm starving." I say with a smile.
"Here let me make you a plat hun." Jasmine says.
" Thanks." She puts some pasta on a palt and some chicken with veggies and hands it to me. I look at it for a second then take a bite it's actually really yummy. " This is really good Jasmine."
"Thank you." She says with a smile.
"Well I have to head back to work. I want my girls to out and go shopping and maybe buy Raven a car?" My dad offered.
"I would love to go shopping with Raven." She says.
"Sure. What kind of car can I have?"
"Doesn't matter whatever one you want." Dad says as he walks out.
I fishes up eating and run upstairs to get some shoes on and my phone. I walk back down and Jasmine is read at the door to go great this is going to be fun right? We got in her black Jeep not a bad car not my type but its nice.
"Where do you want to go first? Mall or car?"
"Car if thats fine."
"Yeah sure that will be fun! What do you want? How about a cute little bug?"
"No no bug I like old cars so whatever jumps out at me."
"Okay."
"I'm sorry if I'm being bitchy I'm not trying to."
"It's fine hun I get it. Your dad and I got married when you and your mother found out about her cancer. I wouldn't be surprised if you hated me."
"I don't hate you. I promised my mom I would get to know you but it's hard."
"I understand it will take time."
"Thank you for understanding."
"Here we are let's go looking around."
