Birthday of the BFF's

Natsu's POV

"Okay sweeties. Both of you close your eyes and make a wish." My mom said excitedly as Chana and I closed our eyes and make a wish.

I wish I would have the guts to tell Chana my true feelings for her since we were born. This year I wish that I would be able to hear a perfect yes from her lips before a year pass after I confess.

I wondered what Chana wished. We opened our eyes and blew the candles at the same time. When all the lights of the candles are gone, all of them cheered.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Chana and Natsu" we all laughed and I looked at Chana. Seeing her so happy made my heart falter. We both blushed when she looked at me and said "Happy 17th birthday Natsu." "Happy 16th birthday Chana." We both laughed. Even though we have the same date of our birth on the calendar, I'm given birth a year earlier than her. That means I'm older for a year. By the way I'm Natsu Dragneel and this girl Chana is Chana Hinata. We had been best friends since birth and our moms are best friends since they started elementary and our fathers and mothers are best friends since highschool which ended paired up with each other.

Chana's POV

Ughhhh... I'm so tired because of the party that had been thrown by mine and Natsu's parents. Gosh Natsu is so handsome. Why am I even thinking about him? Maybe because his my best friend? Yes. His only my best friend. Is he? Or more than that? Ughhhhh.

*knock *knock

I opened the door and revealed Natsu with a smile plastered on his face. "Hey I was wondering if we could cuddle together in our sleep?" I smiled at him "Of course I'd be happy to." Then he walked in my room and we jumped in my soft, squeaky bed and we laughed. We faced each other and looked at each others eyes. He wrapped his arms around me protectively and I didn't take the crap out of it. I'm use to this gesture and it made me feel so loved. "I love you Chana." He smiled and kissed my forehead. "I love you too Natsu." It's okay for us to say that because it's a friendship thing. We closed our eyes and dozed off to sleep in each others arms.

The next day, I fluttered my eyes open and see the man of my dreams. Natsu. I thought dreamily. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me. I felt contented when I felt an arm wrapped around me and he held me tighter making me closer to him. There is an inch space between us and fought the urge of closing the distance. I felt that he is leaning closer. We were about to kiss when--

*snap

We looked shocked and got up feeling the warmth in his arms faded as I blushed crimson red looking down and can't look at him. I don't think I could live a life if my first kiss is taken by a guy not committed with me. Yes I've never been kissed by anyone because of my possessive best friend.

We both look who snapped the picture and surprising it was mom and aunt Nina.

"Awww you both looked so cute together." My mom coos. "Your right Czarina." Auntie said grinning. Then Natsu and I looked at each other and we both nodded knowing the signal. "Mom!!!!!!!!!!" We screamed as our hearts content. We all laughed at the embarrassing moment having a picture of me and Natsu almost going to kiss in a split second. Ughhhh God that is one of the most embarrassing moment in my life. In front of my mom and aunt Nina. Mother of Natsu. Ughhhh!!!! Could this day get any more embarrassing? Author why? Why?!!!! Your my best friend but why??? Why do you have to put me in this position in my life?
